RD a true globetrotting pinhead. You're seeing more of the world in a couple weeks then most of us have in our lives.
Enjoy the trip.
If you're in Vegas this weekend you gotta pop in one of the big casinos sportsbooks and check out March Madness. Best on Thursday and Friday. Went 3 years in a row. Insanity.
Good luck to you and your fam in the tourneys

Plans for any concerts on this American tour?

#135 3 years ago

How'd you guys do today? Nice Kiss shirt, you raised her well! My niece is 13 and wears Zeppelin, Floyd and AC/DC tees all the time.

#156 3 years ago

Too bad you never got to a show/concert when in sin city. Maybe check out the pinball hall of fame tomorrow. Safe trip to nyc guys

#164 3 years ago

Have you been to the adventuredome? They have rides, rollercoasters, etc...

#175 3 years ago

Too bad it wasn't a 2 dr. I'd never want a 4dr personally.

#177 3 years ago

I had a 64 Belair 4dr when I was 18. We packed the shortys in it

A continental 4dr with suicide doors would be as close to a 4dr as I'd want now.

Quoted from rotordave:

You'd get more pimps and hos in the 4dr

I was in nyc only once but we lived off food trucks for the 5 days I was there. There's a Belgium waffle guy that's unbelievable. Lots of good pulled pork and hoagie/deli sandwiches that are super cheap. Some of the best donairs I've ever had too right by the park and time central square. If you find a meatball guy or place, don't hesitate!

Tell Danni we have at least 10 squirrels running around the spruce trees and neighbors fence every time I look out living room window. Doesn't help that my wife feeds them peanuts and bird seed. The ones out west here are brown squirrels but in the east they have black ones too. They keep our dog occupied when we go out.

Good spotting ... I've seen them on YouTube. Crazy stuff. Might be a goer ....

$18 at the Highline ballroom. Supposed to put on a good show. McDonald's costumes are priceless.

Space and science center in nyc is a great day/afternoon. You can even get free passes if you Google it.

#290 3 years ago

If you do go to sabbath tonight, snap some pics for us.

#317 3 years ago

Was it all sabbath parodies or did they cover other bands? I'm sure Metal Church with rock. Springsteen is playing msg on Monday too. Think you made the right choice!

I love carpet, I love desk

Hey Dave. Do you follow Afl? New season just started. Just laid $50 on west coast.

#424 3 years ago

Yeah they're getting their asses handed to them. I just like to have action on anything. Gives me something to follow latenight on Fridays and Saturdays. Hell I even bet on premier League darts:/
My wife likes the violence of afl.

No pinball without electricity though.

That's what generators are for

You should check out pnc park for a pirates game when in the burg. One of the best ballparks in US.
Also Counterpunch playing Wednesday the 13th and even though boring but a great guitarist Joe Satriani Tuesday the 12th.

Man that place looks amazing
The life size statues are incredible. Looks like a theme park on steroids. When I win the lottery I'm stealing so many of his ideas
I wonder how much the electricity bill is monthly?

Must have been a great party at Cooters that Daisy left her shorts behind

Love the bar on wheels!. If you guys haven't has your fix of bbq yet check out Jacks's. Jack Cawthon is a legend in the bbq scene and has a few locations in Nashville

Quoted from WaddleJrJr:

Do locals actually eat this stuff or is it just sold as a joke type thing to pass-throughs?
The South is weird

I've never had pigs feet in a jar but pork hocks are freaking amazing! I used to joke with my mom that I should have been born in the south. I love football, bourbon, bbq, wrastlin and nascar

Talking of guns, I saw my first ever "open carry" guy in Pigeon Forge on the weekend. It was a little disturbing to be honest.

Have you seen the guy with the gun rack in his truck window with 2 shotguns yet? Usually has a pro gun bumper sticker as well. That was a eye opener when I was down there a few years back.
