Quoted from rotordave:needed some classic American nutrition.
That's funny,
I don't see a whole sheet of cake, 12" burger, 36" pizza, or two racks of ribs in that pic with a 126oz big gulp of Coke to wash it down...
Man, now I'm getting hungry!
Quoted from Danni_NZ:The only problem... Stern's 'Stars' machines. That game hates me to an extent that is undefinable. But I still had fun
Mwahahahahaha!
Is the short stint with my Stars still giving you nigHTMAres Danni?
Drain, drAIN, DRAAIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNN!!! (And then, drain some more! )
I wouldn't worry about it too much though.
Your poor Mom and Dad (Roadie) went several days straight last trip trying to tame it, but fell short in cutting the cosmic high score mustard.
They say in space, no one can hear you scream...but on Stars, they sure can hear you cuss!
Quoted from rotordave:Hmmmmmm ....
Ahhh,
So THAT'S what the kids are calling a "Twizzler."
Good to know.
Quoted from rotordave:"Invisi-Screen"
More like "Bogan Net."
Quoted from dmbjunky:Would there be a U.S. state equilavent?
I can only speak of the North Island.
Think of it as a "flipped" California with Aukland as San Diego and Wellington being more like San Franscisco.
If you, or anyone else reading this thread ever gets the chance to visit this amazing place for the annual Pincade dmbjunky, I highly recommend it.
RD joked a few pages back that I wanted to build a small house next to his on their land in Pukekohe to start a homebrew pinball revolution...
I wasn't kidding.
It's that amazing in NZ.
Quoted from WaddleJrJr:Honestly one of the funnier things I've seen
RobbieT probably peed his shorts laughing at that infamous event.
Good thing he wasn't drinking milk or else O-Din's games would've been a bit "gamier" that night...
Poor Twister took the brunt of "Bogan Net 2014."
Thanks for swinging back down after your Universal trip RD and family! (Unexpected surprise!)
It was nice to share in your USA adventures here on Pinside once again. (sans hearse...)
You guys are always welcome to stay anytime and I hope you have a safe flight home!
Say hi to the usual Kiwi crew and of course, the mighty Wayne for me.
Let RGR know that my Future Spa restore will be done fairly soon and he's welcome to come along and do another 3AM throwdown whenever he has some free time.
Hugs and kisses from your California family!
For those unfamiliar with O-Din's place...
"Furniture" = pinball machines.
Quoted from o-din:I have a special place behind the garage where nothing grows.
Translation:
Don't forget to bring your inner tube for the Noone Lagoon!
You're forgetting the all important American staple RD...
One charcoal burning BBQ.
(Plus, you missed a "few" pins in the tally.)
