Quoted from vec-tor:

Service Bulletin Book 1991
SB22
Problem: Trap Door Flap ( A-13962 ) bending or breaking.
Solution: install bracket 01-10223 with Phillips trusshead screw.
---------- ( part # 4106-01033-08 )
pg.17 has drawing of setup.
Basically an air gap in the front blue tempered steel plate and playfield.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SB 28
Stress on the A-14155 Trap Door Hinge.
remount Trap Door Mechanism Assembly
forward .150"
Remove some material from chute assembly A-13966

Out of all the FH restos that I've followed here and i think I've covered em all, you might be only the second person to mention this. I've often wondered why this wasn't brought up more often

Quoted from dmacy:

Lower flippers rebuilt WPC style. Adjusted and installed with new flipper bats.[quoted image][quoted image]

Can you tell me what's required to change these to WPC ? There's a listing on Marcos site for a rebuild kit# WFLTRON that replaces A-13524-8. Would I need anything else?

Are you upgrading the left upper flipper ?
Would it be the same as the left lower?

Quoted from dmacy:

Thanks Peter regarding the blue ballon plastics. Swapped them to be correct. Nice catch!
[quoted image][quoted image]

I had thought this was just part of you adding random plastics.

Some very minor details but it’s 100% and plays as it should. Fast, precise and tough!
Couple pics of initial start up with Rudy’s flesh not yet installed and some in process game play.

I may have missed it but are there any plans to freshen up the lockdown reciever ?

Quoted from dmacy:

Thanks. It was a lot of fun!
There's other ones I've done that can be seen here:

If anyone is looking to have something swapped, I have time now to get one done.

Courious what you generally charge

Quoted from dmacy:

It ranges from 500 to 1250 depending on what is done. Parts obviously will take prices up, if I’m getting the parts, etc. A swap with adding in buying plastics, ramps, and some ancillaries can obviously raise it further.
Some have wanted just a basic swap and not wanting to go with new ramps or plastics which is fine. But since you’re tearing down this far, it makes sense to replace these things.

That's a very good price range!

Quoted from EricHadley:

I’m in the middle of my own funhouse refurb. I am also going to re-do the cabinet. Anybody know what color blue it is? I am hopeful to use spray paint in a can, but idk.

This isn't mine but here ya go.
