What prep was done before the plating? How was the corrosion removed first? Plating will brighten the surface but not change the surface shape at all, it will lay down on top of what is there.

Have been following your thread with great interest. I am curious how you restored/finished the rectifier board mounting plate? It looks like a brushed finish. I have one I need to do something with and it is quite rusty.

Also, where did you get pins and connector bodies for that board? I had a swap a pin the other day and the normal .093" pins/sockets were too big to fit into the housing of J3 and the socket was too loose on the pin.

I am curious about how you reattach your wiring, you have left a good amount of wire on that target on the right which makes it easy to identify wires. Do you do a splice or move the harness cut end to the coil and hope there is enough slack?

I have an Embryon that has the same style pop bumpers, it makes so much more sense than the traditional type. My Xenon came out slightly after but had the traditions style bumpers. That sea of light sockets is screaming for a PCB holding sockets instead. Its funny how the pinball manufactures thought.
