    My new baby!

After getting a Spectrum recently; I'm definitely hooked on this era of Bally!

    Yeah nice find
how does it play vs the Spectrum ?

The play field reminds me of Black Knight. Love the back glass.
    Nice buy.

Damn, I love me some classic ballys too, even with their overly fat and rounded flippers that allow you so little control. Makes you better some might say!

Nice to play also as I like picking off the targets-slow compared to many games but so what-nice find

Different beast.... Spectrum is more of a drop target oriented game compared to Elektra. Also the gameplay is more linear because of this.....

Thanks fellas! I definitely have a new-found respect for some of the artwork as well. Examples like Fathom, Centaur and Embryon. Like I said in a previous post, I like to get Embryon next and then possibly a EBD - although I HATE that backglass! I would like to get a Fathom, but honestly; I think that machine is wayyyyy overpriced!

I have my eyes out for an Embryon. They are hard to come by, particularly nice ones.

    You have good taste GP!

The fella I bought my Elektra from has a buddy up north who has a pristine example of one. Of course, my reply was "is it for sale"? From his response, I gather he had been looking for one for a while... which equates to "no"!

Looks like we'll be spending a 1k for one if we do find one....

I love my Elektra and Spectrum they are both real nice game Elektra isnt as easy to play as other ballys of the era and the plexiglass realy speeds up the ball. People dont like it becouse it dont have bumpers but realy its a nice game and truly underated in my book. same with spectrum the different type of gameplay it offers really keeps you on your toes not knowing where the ball will come from next.
