    Greetings.

I would like to announce the opening of Titan Pinball.

We are a small husband and wife team that has a passion for pinball, and an insane idea to fill our house with inventory.

Our goal is to become the go-to place for cleaning and repairing your machine. Obviously, it will take quite some time to get there, and we will make a bunch of mistakes along the way.

Right now we have rubber rings, LEDs, pinballs, cleaning supplies, hardware, star posts, some tools, and the awesome Titan Tilt-o-Meter . Everything we make goes directly back into the company to help us expand our catalog.

We have managed to bring in colored rubber rings in sizes from "very small" to three inch, and are working on some new materials we think you will enjoy.

We strive to provide quality products and outstanding service along with quick, low-cost shipping.

Any and all suggestions and constructive criticism is welcome, and needed.

    Thank you!
    Matt (mkgort) and Eve

Glwb, I like the tilt o meter and the cheapskate comment on the bottom, ha ha......... do you ship international?

    #3 9 years ago

    Thanks!

The Tilt-o-Meter is a labor of love

We do ship internationally. It's through USPS, so it's a little hit or miss on the price. We have shipped to Australia a few times without incident. If you need any help, please let me know.

    Awesome to know

Looks like you're off to a good start. Good luck and keep growing.

Make sure to invest in search engine optimization. It can be a make or break in this kind of business. GL!

    #9 9 years ago

Thanks for the advice. We have dabbled in Google Ads and the site is supposedly set up for well SEO. It's an expensive venture into the land of The Front Page

Probably 1/2 of your biz will come from members of Pinside and RGP, so if you throw out some coupon codes every once in awhile it might pay better than Google Ads...how often does anyone Google for common pinball parts?

Usually PL is cheapest for common stuff, Marco for a little more exotic stuff and PR for the old stuff.

You've got some prices better than PL, so once word gets around, people will naturally go to you for those parts.

Just checked out your site and I love it! I like the box of calm I am definitely going to order one of those! No more picking through my huge bin of screws and washers!

Love the color rings...can't wait to try them out. Do you offer kits yet?

    #12 9 years ago

Do you foresee a venture into the electrical side in the near future?

    #13 9 years ago

Gonna buy a bunch of rubbers at SFGE in atlanta. Want to pick up a bunch of LEDs as well.

We are working on setting up some coupons now. Hard to do with such low markup

Thank you, thank you, thank you

    Quoted from Jesterfunhouse:

I would love to. We don't really know how yet. There are so many options and variables. We are thinking of having a contest where people submit their own. We are all up for suggestions!

    Quoted from WOLF:

Do you foresee a venture into the electrical side in the near future

Probably not in the near future. There are so many things we want to bring in for cleaning and "shopping" first.

    Quoted from Wolfmarsh:

We'll be there with a bunch of stuff

    Thanks!

Good luck on the startup! I always love seeing new comapnies join the pinball. Competing with giants like marco and PBL is gonna be tough, but you got this!

    #16 9 years ago

Just ordered little box of calm. Just what I needed. Thank you!

    #18 9 years ago

Just made my first order to sample a bunch of your stuff. The site is very easy to use and is set up really well in MHO. I noticed some funny humor in places including the tilt o meter about being too cheap to buy one...LOVE IT. Also I love that you have all of the part numbers listed with the Rubber Rings this made it very easy to reference. I suggest you do a sample grab bag of your color rings for like $10 I think you would sell a lot of those as this is a great product that I want to try out and see how it looks in various areas of my machine.

I did order my "Little Box of Calm". EXCELLENT idea and I think everyone needs one of these!

Great Stuff!!! Your site is bookmarked!

    #19 9 years ago

    Great looking website!

    #20 9 years ago

anyone else having a problem checking out with pay pal? I tried a few times and my order wont go through

    #21 9 years ago

I checked out with PayPal. It was a little different as the first link I clicked wasn't what I expected. I went back and clicked login to PayPal from the site and that worked for me.

    #22 9 years ago

Couple ideas maybe add parts needed for flipper rebuilds ,coil sleeves, metal posts

    #23 9 years ago

Any plans to fill in the colored rubber rings with some more sizes? I was going to order a set for my Iron Man but you don't make/carry/whatever 1-3/4"

    #24 9 years ago

bought some really nice high polished balls from ya a couple months back at ebay, thanks!
I know where to look first for stuff, the name is now a site too, good deal.

I checked out smoothly with Paypal this morning. No issues.

Just put in an order to help you get started. Best wishes for the new business!

    #27 9 years ago

Great site! It's well laid out, easy to read, and your prices are excellent. Good luck with the new endeavor!

I hadn't thought about a grab bag. Great idea! Thank you

That is high up on the list as soon as we can afford it. Hopefully sooner than later.

Yes. We went with what we thought were the most common sizes first. Turns out, the 1 3/4 is more common than we though We are going to have more molds made soon.

I can't tell you all how much we appreciate the feedback and support. So far it's been overwhelmingly positive. It really gets us motivated!

    Thanks again,

I'd second the idea for the color sample set on the rubber.

    #30 9 years ago

You've got a really nice website there. I also think your logo looks great! Good job and good luck with your business.

    #31 9 years ago

I just had a client order some colored rubber for his AFM and Time Warp last night.

A good feature would be to start a database of what games require what rubbers ( just like Pinballcenter.eu does with the LEDs).

The charts in the manuals, if available, are often wrong or very incomplete.

Would be AWESOME! I wanted to try out some color rubbers and was digging through manuals and opening up games to look at sizes. Major pain in the a$$. Would love a database/map for quick reference.

And or kits. The other ones are wrong. Just selling complete white rubber kits to us here will keep you in business ; )

    #34 9 years ago

Great looking site. Love the Little Box of Calm name and the Tilt-o-meter idea. Bookmarked for my next purchase!

    #35 9 years ago

Kits are harder because there are 6000 different pins and you know that Marco or PR is not going to just hand over it's database to a competitor.

BUT - we could all chip in and make a database for Titan.

Everyone would have to carefully make sure each rubber is correct and then send it.

Maybe Titan would give a free ball to the first person to send in a rubber list for each game?

I'm curious how the LED bulbs are. They look like frosted versions of PBL's ablaze-1's (which don't work so well as a controlled bulb), but you say on your site it works with AC or DC so they should be closer to ablaze-3. At 29 cents a piece when buying a hundred, it might be worth the gamble (at least for GI).

Curious if you'd do a mixture of white/colored 100 bulbs (no pink or purple) for .29 each?

    #37 9 years ago

The "Little Box of Calm" is so brilliant. Great idea for new pinball people who don't know exact screw sizes and are intimidated by hardware stores (Like me!) Also the 3D printable tilt-o-meter with free plans? amazing!

    #38 9 years ago

You guys gave us a great idea. We are going to experiment with a Google Doc / Wiki tie in. The content would be user generated, through a submission form. Each game could have multiple configurations. It would be easy to access and, more importantly, available to everyone

I'm going to start on this right now!

And thanks again for the compliments. It means a lot.

(By the way, for anyone not familiar with Black Books, the Little Box of Calm is a play on the The Little Book of Calm from the first episode)

Here is the corrected Space Shuttle rubber chart.

(Note that latter games don't use part #21), so if your game does not have that long rubber behind the left targets, delete one of the 2_3/8" rings.

The difference is that these are internally rectified. (You can see the difference in the leads on the 555 bulbs. Rectified bulbs have a lead on both sides of the wedge base). They will run either way and AC/DC. If you would like to give them a try, you can return them if they are not to your liking.

    Thanks!

A great addition would be switch-adjusting tools (that don't break after 2 uses!).

    #46 9 years ago

tried ordering with PayPal and keep getting transaction cannot be completed.

the error your website gives is

    "We're sorry

Your transaction could not be completed due to a problem occurring while calculating shipping.
    "

    #47 9 years ago

Also you should have whomever created your website force SSL (https). They can auto redirect http to https this should be standard for all e-merchants
