    Quoted from HighVoltage:

I really appreciate you guys who are creating do-it-yourself tools like this. I figure most of us drop $100 on a shaker or mod with little second thought, so something as handy to have around as this is a no-brainer. Sooner or later you're going to use it, and dividends paid for having it on hand.

Can't agree more. Pricing on this stuff is dirt-cheap considering how much time it can save you. Then the savings really start adding up as you use it again and again. And you could always sell it down the road if you no longer need it.

Bump for a great product. Got a fully assembled PCB and 3 harnesses. Covers most of my games. I've got 3 boards to test. Early birthday present for me.

Seller is great guy to buy from.

Picked up the Bally/Stern SDB tester kits. Looking forward to assembling and using!

    #154 7 years ago

Got mine today with 3 harnesses. Look great. I've got a couple of boards to test this weekend. Thanks.

    #155 7 years ago

Assembled and ready to go. Testing begins tomorrow.

    Running an AUGUST SALE!

Good for the entire month of AUGUST [or WHILE SUPPLIES LAST]

EVERYTHING BUNDLES are back! And they should be sticking around this time (only after August, they won't be *quite* this discounted since the current sale factors in the wire harnesses that are also on-sale).

The EVERYTHING BUNDLES were only introduced during a weekend "flash sale" earlier this year when I was trying to raise some quick funds by offering steeper discounts on a package deal. Once that sale ended though, I didn't get around to adding them as part of the normal non-sale options at the adjusted price, that still saved people that wanted all the options a bit of dough. To re-introduce the EVERYTHING BUNDLE & since I wasn't able to offer a JULY sale this year to commemorate the month these switch testers were introduced.. an AUGUST SALE it is! So how about that "flash-sale pricing" for the entire month of August on EVERYTHING BUNDLES & wire harness options?

There may be a few other items going on sale in August, so check the website for announcements/news on that.

    PRODUCT DETAILS & PURCHASING OPTIONS

    Thanks for looking!

BUMP. No takers yet on the current sale

I'll bump this a few times during August and then toward the end of the month just as a reminder. Next time I do a sale will *probably* be December for the holidays.

Any updates on WPC lamp/solenoid tester ?

Haven't had a chance to get back to that project, but I'll be getting back into some repairing some of my own machines -- and not having proper testing tools is usually great motivation to make some better testing tools

Finally got all of the Stern S.A.M. games I could find switch matrix info for entered into the Switch Database. Still missing a few (listed below).

    24
    Avatar
    Big Buck Hunter Pro
    CSI
    Iron Man
    NBA

Also had someone help me fill in some of the blanks for Gottlieb Sys3 games. The database is now at 394 games! I'm trying to break the 400-mark If anyone can help fill in a few more blanks that would be great! Other missing games listed at http://www.pinitech.com/switch_missing.txt

Hopefully people are finding the database useful!

BUMP just to see if anyone has a lead on the Stern S.A.M. manuals listed above or can copy the switch matrix charts and send them to me.

Not sure why, but the ones on Stern's website are sometimes lacking a lot of pages.

Is this test fixture still available? I really need one of these. I have two machines down with Sw matrix issues.

Not currently available on the website, but there's a waitlist sign-up @ https://www.pinitech.com/products/64switch_tester.php

While I can't give a definite date of availability, there are a handful of people that have signed up since earlier this year so I should be putting in a small pcb order for these within the next 1-2 months to fulfill those requests.

If interested, get signed up on the waitlist. I am no longer buying parts in excess for products like diagnostic tools with a limited market, so will likely only order parts to cover a few dozen boards. If/when those sell out another waitlist will go up. Happy to keep offering this as long as there's interest as it's a very useful tool, but waitlist dictates how soon new batches become available.
