All those DE titles and no Star Trek or POTO? And Lethal Weapon, really? For the cost of a repro field I figured you could find an entire second machine to pull a field from at that price so why bother. Non-working machine of course.

The way I'm reading your post, you're complaining that there isn't a DE Star Trek? If so, that's the one I'm inquiring about. It's on the list to be reproduced.
Quoted from johnnyutah:Sorcerer. Please make the Sorcerer.
Yep, what johnny said...
Quoted from zr11990:BSD was a good movie. The Dracula character was a bit weird. Really though, has there ever been a good DRACULA movie? Keanu I would think wouldn't give two shits about a pinball machine. With all the shit that has gone on in his life its surprising he hasn't hung himself.
For the record, since I'm just now checking this thread again...
I was talking about Johnny, not BSD... LOL!
Kevin previously stated it was challenging and not cost effect to do games with two playfields. I'm hoping this changes at some point, but until I hear different from the horse's mouth, I'm not counting on it.
Quoted from Tokkentakker:I haven't gotton a confirmation email on my sorcerer preorder either. Anybody else?
Auto-responders are not turned on, from what Kevin was saying.
Quoted from Spencer:Emailed CPR about getting on the Elvira playfield list, never heard back. Great customer service.
That appears to be their MO. I signed up for the DE Star Trek months ago. You would have thought I would have got some type of auto-response, but no...not a peep.
I tried emailing them to make sure they got my pre-order. Want to take a guess as to if they responded?

I don't get this? I understand that it drives the cost and complexity up, but can CPR not just charge 1.5 or whatever the cost of a regular playfield - cost appropriate for the increase in wood, ink, time, clear, etc?
Black Hole seems like a really popular one, and I'd guess there are a lot of worn playfields out there and people willing to spend $1k on a playfield set.
OR....
If the lower playfield is less likely to wear, would people really balk at them just producing the upper pf?
Quoted from fiberdude120:Well they just did fishtales two playfields.
Not really. The mini playfield was a separate run and made of polyurethane. That was a while ago and out of stock now.

It is not as if FG is two playfields anyway, it is one cut in half
Back when they ran it originally, they did not make enough to fill all preorders, they did say it was going to be run again
I don't know why people even spend any effort on any of this back and forth email, quality issues, grading system, alignment issues, email lists, production delays, pre-order queues and much more. All it does is create headaches for everyone. Reminds me of when JJP shows games off at shows that are 20% complete. Puts a bad taste in everyone's mouth, before anything is even available.
For me, it's much easier to just buy a CPR PF in person. That is, from one of the distributors that sells them at shows. You know the price right there. You know exactly what you are getting. No shipping nightmares. Pay in cash. Done. So much better. I say no preorders and don't tell anyone anything until the damn things are available directly from the distributors that sell for CPR. At least that way, there is less whining. Yeah yeah, I know.. there's some people that can't go to pinball shows because their wives won't let them.
As far as I know, you can buy as many PF's from a run as you want, correct? I say that you should have to send in your old sanded down PF to CPR as a deposit, and then they should just naphtha that damn thing, silk screen it, and clear it. At least that way, they would know who is serious and who is a tire kicker. That would cut the production times in half and cut costs way down. Could do 100's of PF's a week. Who's with me?

I believe the mini was made of wood.

And for those people who do not live in the USA?
Quoted from PopBumperPete:And for those people who do not live in the USA?
Why would you have to live in the US to attend shows where vednors sell playfields in the US?
Quoted from indy5mike:How about a boutique run on TAXI?
TAXI was done recently so it probably will not be done again soon.
Quoted from fiberdude120:I believe the mini was made of wood.
You might be right. But it was done separate and not in a set like WH2O, BK, FG...
