We know that almost every owner of Cyclone has been wanting to purchase new ramps for quite some time. Well that time is right around the corner. Over the last few months we have made the molds for all 3 ramps and also the subway ramp. This was a trial and error process with this being the first ramps that we have made. It was not as easy as we had thought when we dove into this project.

Another issue we have ran into once the ramps were made was getting them cut out. We had many shops with CNC routers turn us away. They thought this was too small scale of a project. Finally we found somebody with a 4 axis router and we have moved forward getting the cut out. At this time we don't have them all cut out but are working towards that right now.

These ramps will come with the flaps rivited one already and the decals which came directly from Planetary Pinball will be loose for the end user to install themselves.

Please do not email us asking to be but on a pre-order list as there will not be a list. We will make an announcement a few days before they will go on sale. They will be available individually or as the whole package of 4 ramps.

Quoted from viperrwk:

Are you working with James? Will these ramps include the rest of the hardware ie mounts and stops or will it be up to the purchaser to figure out how to transfer the old hardware over?

No we are not working with James on these. James has known that we were making these for quite some time and that is why he has not re-run the Comet ramp that he sells. As for the hardware the ramps will have the flaps attached to them already.

Quoted from kyle5574:

Is this related to the Planetary announcement on Facebook a while back?

Yes this would be related to that. Planetary Pinball is the one who made the decals that will come with the ramps.

Quoted from BrianZ:

If you guys need a fit tester, let me know!

Thanks we have tested them in 3 different machines to make sure they were correct before actually moving forward and cutting all of them out.

Needed this ramp for a long time.

I was in your bowling alley last weekend when I came to visit family. That is one clean Monopoly that you have!

I don't see it anymore - guessing James is now not going to do any Cyclone ramps and we will have to wait for Twisted Pins' ramps to be released.

Correct James will not be rerunning the Comet ramp which is the only Cyclone ramp he ever offered. We made all 4 ramps so you can have a complete set.

Pinball Inc and Twisted Pins are not going to make the same thing if another person offers it. There are many different titles that need ramps. Makes so sense to put forth the time and money to produce something that is already available from another supplier.

We had no intentions on making it publicly known that we were working on this until everything was finished and ready for sale. With it being the first set of ramps we made it has been quite the learning curve.

This thread was started so that people would stop asking James when he was going to rerun the Comet ramp as he already knew what we had going on behind the scenes and that is the reason he had not rerun it. We know that everybody is anxious to get there hands on the badly needed new ramps for their machine and hope to have these available for sale shortly.

Quoted from mrgone:

will you be making another ramps in the future?

Yes we have a full list of titles that we are going to do. Right now we have so many different projects going that we really need to get some of these finished before starting anymore.

Any rough estimate on price at this point?

At this time we have not finalized the pricing at this time but should have that soon.

Will the TwistedPins Cyclone ramp fit with this thicker comet ramp?

Yes the thicker ramps fit with no issues. We have installed them in two different machines so far.

Update as of 11/27

We are getting closer to releasing them but do not have a firm update at this time. We will post once they are available for sale. And just a reminder there is no waiting list so please do not PM or email asking to be placed on it. There will be adequate stock to take care of everyone.
