GAME 83 new for XLED!... IT IS... ALIVE!!!

ColorDMD is excited to announce the 83rd title to receive full color support is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein! MSF rounds out the year as the 14th title to receive support in 2018, and the second new title for the ColorDMD 192x64 XLED display platform!

The ColorDMD XLED, introduced earlier this year is a large-format full color display designed to support games with 192x64 resolution. Frankenstein follows the company's successful Baywatch release on the same platform.

Frankenstein was colored by veteran developer Justin Kelly, whose earlier work includes colorizations for Sopranos and Starship Troopers! He has been an active collector and member of the Sacramento area pinball community for more than ten years. During that time he's thrown the switch on a few Frankenstein machines that have moved through his collection. This time life was a little more colorful!

When he's not stitching bloody scars into 20 year old game displays, Justin is also an experienced poker player and online personality who can be found providing commentary on tournaments for Stones Casino in California. He also enjoys helping people on pinball forums and lending a hand at pinball shows around the country.

The ColorDMD for Frankenstein pinball machines leverages the company's easy-to-install ColorDMD 192x64 XLED platform. Displays ship with the factory installed SIGMA ROM. Multicolor operation is enabled through free download and installation of a game-specific color ROM using a USB drive. The display may be reconfigured for use with any supported XLED title.

Displays are available now for immediate shipping. The color ROM for Frankenstein pinball machines is targeted for release by Friday, December 21! Just in time for the holidays!
