Quoted from kid_ego:I wonder if this is why Stern is looking to move into a larger facility.
They have always subcontracted work through the years.
Larger facility is probably a reflection of the things they've done in recent years. Stern is on a roll.

Quoted from pezpunk:Is there anyone left in the business NOT making a buck off of MMR?
Me.

Disclaimer : Tech support isn't a job, it's an adventure.
Quoted from dgoett:I'm a pinball tech and have been for 16 years and current model sterns are great. Just as solid as B/W with fewer board problems. Just like any tech, there's things that go bad, but most of the time a NIB Stern is put the balls in and play - ready to go.
My experience, at least until Batman, is Stern had Williams beat, out of the box for quality.
I never opened a Williams box/game, that I didn't spend a few days tweaking things or replacing.

Quoted from MinusWorlds:We have no idea what is next and what they will retail for.
Or if there is a next.

Disclaimer : I hope there is, but only time will tell.
Quoted from juanton:when there is a problem with the game and it is under warranty, who do you call, Stern or PPS?
Ummmmmmmmmmm..............................ME.

Quoted from lordloss:So that must mean you're working at stern now!
No, PPS.
PPS and CGC are having the games assembled by SPI, then back to CGC for final inspection/quality control and then shipping.

Disclaimer : I think. Main thing is I got to use a lot of company initials in one post.
Quoted from NM:Guessing the trouble-shooting/warranty on these be through 1-800-KICKERS?
You must have missed Rick's post on the previous page :
"Stern is the assembler ... I'm not sure how much more clear we can make this ... you will call MMR support which will route to the right person as well as escalate. Lloyd is one of those people, as is Chicago gaming ... but the support procedures will address all of that ...

Quoted from jfh:but I can't be the only person that bought MM NIB and still has it.
I bought one NIB when it came out and still have it.

Quoted from epthegeek:I noticed you didn't mention how many plays it has there Lloyd
Doesn't matter how many. It's HUO since I spend more time here then anywhere else.

Quoted from jimjim66:there are almost no differences.
Except for decaled cabinet, smaller tube dancer. No glow in the dark artwork on the apron.
