The buyers will take care of that part. I'm guessing they will tack that missed opportunity onto the selling price when they sell.

It's the money talking, not the people. Don't make it seem like they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.
I wonder what percentage of buyers will follow through with the sale? If the deposit is refundable and new games out that end up trumping this, things could get interesting. Yet another factor could be the prestige factor of the game wearring off and people that have mm's possibly dumping their games. Things could get interesting.
