big blue cones with "no trespassing" doesn't seem to deter people. Last night about 7.20pm a car drove around back. A cute girl got out of the passenger side and then sqatted and peed on the grass, while her boyfriend watched. then they got in the back seat of the car and fooled around for 40 minutes until "detective doug" came to cut the grass. the guy got out of the back seat butt naked, and ran around the car to the driver's side. doug boxed them in, but they drove around to the other side of the building, and then drove over the grass to escape... i guess gates will need to be installed.

How did you figure out it was pee?

You go and smell the area?

    Quoted from Pinballogist:

$100/ticket? Ouch. That’s just too expensive for us. $300 and a 6hr trip for one day of pinball.. Oof.
We’ve been coming the past few years, look forward to it all year, and have always had a great time - so this is a major bummer. Thanks to Clay and all his club members. Is there info somewhere on this club or how to join?
I’m sure this year will sell out again - have fun everyone!! Hopefully next year prices will be super low to offset this year.. fingers crossed!

Info on the club is on the same site as ticket sales.

There are no member *application* forms. However typically a new member is vetted for the following qualities: Experience in repairing or maintenance of games, being a regular participant, working the shows, provide other valuable skills worthwhile to the club, being local to the club (so you will show up every now and then). There is a one person vetting and approval committee.

Thank you for your past support, we look forward to maybe seeing you in the future.

    Quoted from Xdetroit:

Did anyone figure out who that was?

    No.

However security has been upgraded to include electrified fences, trip wire M18’s, hidden trenches with punji sticks and two German Shepherd dogs named Roxie and Bravo.

BTW: Clay's scared shitless of Bravo.

Thanks to everyone that attended this year.

It was a much smaller (by attendance) show this year.

On the plus side for attendees, there was no wait on any games, aisles were free and clear and smells were way down.

Broken games were almost zero (thank you to the VFW tech staff!!)

The *Snack Shack* had the usual great food (thank you Blake!!).

We missed all of our Canadian friends and all the out of towners who could not make it.

We hope that everyone who did attend had a great time.

Next year we the plan is to be back to the pre Covid normal…we hope!

    Quoted from jj44114:

    Is this the last show?

Rumors of the VFW demise are 100% unfounded.

Of course, tomorrow is another day, so you never know.

BTW: Current game total is 481.

Stern Mandalorian Pro showed up Saturday (thank you Trent!)

    Quoted from MrBally:

A developer has been rumored to have offered the VFW a deal that may not be refusable.. They asked permission to get soil samples to see how the land can be redeveloped for housing similar to what is going in to the East.
Then there's the games that, if similar to Banning, could fetch a pretty penny or three.
If this happens, 2021 might be the final year of the show....

Bruce *MrBally* is talking out his ass.

Yes, there is residential development to the east.

Unfortunately what almost of these potential home owners don't know about is the ex-superfund site near by.

Do you own research. Public Knowledge.
