    Quoted from RCA1:

Is the underground parking garage still in the works?

No parking garage, but there are plans for a free-standing drop tower ride.

I hear someone in Florida is selling one dirt cheap.

    Quoted from j_m_:

many consider it a right of passage to be scolded by that old man. most of us club members just shrug it off and laugh at him

I call it being *itched at... and I wear it like a badge of honor.

You have to have some level of self perceived competence when at the VFW.

Then when you fiddle *uck with something, Clay can throw a *itch fit and and call you a chimp flipping imbecile.

    Quoted from bangerjay:

    There’s a fucking course?

Yup...I flunked it back when I was a teen...

Then I learned that is just like playing pinball.

A little nudge here and a bump there makes all the difference.

    Quoted from pinwiztom:

I am in process of making airline and car rental and hotel reservations.
Any suggestions for any cheap hotels within 10-15 mile radius for <$100/nite?
Any camping allowed at VFW or is that a thing of the past.
Also last time I drove from DTW airport to VFW (a couple 2-3 yrs ago) there was all kinds of road construction and detours.
Any heads up info on possible routes to avoid when driving from DTW would be appreciated.
And please do not tell me it is homecoming weekend at Ann Arbor that week.
    cheers Tom

Days Inn by Wyndham Whitmore Lake is the closest. The place has been there since the beginning of time, however it seems to be well maintained (although I’ve never stayed there).

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brighton South is almost brand new. Can’t go wrong there.

There are no prearranged hotel discounts for the show.

Plymouth, Ann Arbor, Novi, Brighton, Howell define the nearest city’s/towns in descending order of *price point* at a 20 mile radius. No issues with *bad* neighborhoods anywhere in that zone.

Michigan football is at Iowa that Saturday.

No construction issuers as far as I know. Check back the week before.

Don’t plan on camping. The last several shows it was not available for a numbers of reasons. Clay will have the final word on that.

    Quoted from Bax1:

Why no popeye? I know a few members that say popeye is one of the best WPC games and wish it was there.

Clay would prefer a *Ruptured Aneurysm* over a Popeye

    Quoted from Hench4Life:

Zukey Lake Tavern is close to the VFW and a long time local classic. Grew up in Brighton…

    Yes to Zukey Lake Tavern...

... and Captain Joe's Grill at US-23 and 8 Mile, about 5 minutes south from the VFW

... plus a number of establishments 5 minutes north at US-23 and Lee road

    Quoted from MrBally:

The guy who sells playfield protectors.
... while Danny is rebuilding yet another Honda CT70H.
    [quoted image][quoted image]

humm... what did Danny do to piss Clay off ? Working in Deb's back room ?... right by the exit sign!

    Quoted from timarnold:

... people who, for the most part, are sober...

...excepting *certain* staff members, of course.

    Quoted from pinballlife:

My only suggestion would be to rename it Preditor. I can't quite put my finger on it, but for some reason this sounds like a better title for the game.

    *Jungle Hunt* sucks

My suggestion for a rename would be *Your One Ugly Mother @!$% er*

(can a write @!$% on Pinside???)

It also sorta works with an image of Clay
