Don’t start a pallet fire
Quoted from Bax1:Any rules for this show? I know some people that weren't able to go last year due to not having the shot.
No republican fat kids that drink i believe
Quoted from amkoepfer:No republican fat kids that drink i believe
Oh drinking is fine
Quoted from MrBally:It has made it here....

Time to ride the Chonda and the Honda side by side again. It's been a few years since they both were on the VFW trails together....
Screenshot_20220411-191912_Gallery (resized).jpgQuoted from pinwiztom:I wanna see you ride one into the pool,
beers in hand
Or at least drive a lap around the pool
Maybe the Chonda as the real Trail 70 CT70H is still in great condition.
The other 70 at the VFW was pulled from a lake and needed a bunch of stuff for Ballykid and Clay to get it running. That one might be a pool candidate. Gotta move it West next.....

I do believe I’m being scolded in this picture
Quoted from bangerjay:I do believe I’m being scolded in this picture
...and everyone's loving it, especially Clay. For a man who lives to needle and harangue, you gave him the ultimate gift. His scolding is veiled gratitude.
Quoted from bangerjay:I do believe I’m being scolded in this picture
The onlookers appear to enjoy watching the scolding. [Edit: Sorry, I didn’t see that Yancy had already pointed that out.]
many consider it a right of passage to be scolded by that old man. most of us club members just shrug it off and laugh at him
I only got scolded once, for a really bad solder job I had done. But after the scolding, Clay taught me how to solder properly. I now do a much better job.
Quoted from wolverinetuner:But after the scolding, Clay taught me how to solder properly. I now do a much better job.
Nice! We've all been there. Comes up behind you and shows you where to put your hands and hold his solder
Quoted from j_m_:many consider it a right of passage to be scolded by that old man. most of us club members just shrug it off and laugh at him
I call it being *itched at... and I wear it like a badge of honor.
You have to have some level of self perceived competence when at the VFW.
Then when you fiddle *uck with something, Clay can throw a *itch fit and and call you a chimp flipping imbecile.
Quoted from j_m_:coming summer of 2022 the vfw is getting another expansion. we are currently in the design phase of the following:
- a 1 mile long looping subterranean "lazy" river
- a 4500 sq. ft 2nd floor expansion above the marv and rat hole for future minibike expansion
and last, but not least
- a 1200 sq. ft two-level gazebo with a bar & grill area, adirondack chairs and 3 fire pits
I was hoping for an outhouse where taking a dump is actually allowed.
// responsible for the no dooky rule at the club
Since pooping isn't allowed in the building I save up for the week prior in Dunkin Donut bags and bring some with me to flush.
Quoted from GrueLurks:I was hoping for an outhouse where taking a dump is actually allowed.

We used to have a Port-o-potty/ Johnny-on-the-spot brought in for the showcases when camping was popular.
if you go in the woods, i don't think anyone cares. but don't leave your dunkin donut TP bags covered in poo around for evidence. it's bad style.
Quoted from bangerjay:Put a bidet in the woods?
...or bring the woods to the bidet.
Fuck it all, let's just make it magical.
Wait... IT'S ALREADY MAGICAL!
Read this post in 20 years and tell my probably dead corspe I'm wrong.
Your magic dead corpse propped up on a bidet in the woods?
… some people say, if you listen closely you can hear the sound of a guy yelling at another guy, naked on a motorcycle, to cut it out.
Quoted from CraigC:Your magic dead corpse propped up on a bidet in the woods?
Classic!
Take a picture and etch it into my tombstone.
If someone puts a bidet in the woods and someone shits in it but there's no one there to see it, does it smell?
I do stand behind my (before stated in other threads) opinion that the VFW show is your one-and-only chance to experience the best collection of pinball machines IN THE BEST CONDITION in the entire world, annually... until its over forever and no longer an annual event.
We'll all say we were there, kinda like Woodstock, only better.
Quoted from RazerX:If someone puts a bidet in the woods and someone shits in it but there's no one there to see it, does it smell?
No, of course!
Quoted from RazerX:If someone puts a bidet in the woods
I got an old school bidet stored in my garage collecting dust,
along with a bunch of other old school plumbing fixtures ;
that if they will let me check it in as luggage, I will bring it along to the next show.
I’m envisioning an old school hand pump well and a lot of screaming.
