Will need to purchase tickets this afternoon. ...
Love me some Michigan in May.
Always afraid of what weather may hit the drive. Every year it snows like a bitch within a week or two prior, but then it all calms down.
Anxiety city.

Quoted from TheLaw:Be carefull what you wish for. He's a tad...aggressive.
Get good use out of those gloves
Excited to see the new t-shirt design this year!
Hoping for a pink or purple option.
I know you're reading this EchoVictor
Quoted from TheLaw:Tank top with cut out nipples option. For friend of course.
It's Gryszzz
I can get on board with this

*Cough*
Quoted from alexanr1:Any machines for sale at the show?
For the most part no, but some people make deals prior and during.
What are you looking for?
Quoted from cfh:Note this year is the last year the Ann Arbor vfw show will be in its current format.
Next year the show will be just two days, saturday and sunday (and at higher ticket prices.)
There will be no 'friday' show day.
The problem with friday during the day is all the club member work day jobs. and asking them to take a vacation day for this tomfoolery is getting old in their book. and the friday 4pm show thing is tough too because they have worked their day job, and then have to come work a pinball show. I guess this gets old, and frankly i can't blame them... Hence next year the 'friday' part of the show is just going away. Then we can concentrate our effort on saturday and sunday.
The friday EM tourney *might* still happen next year, but it would be at 4pm (instead of 9am.) Or there's a chance it may move to saturday night. Or it may just go away altogether.
Quoted from j_m_:NOTE: receiving 3 strikes in the EM tourney does not allow you access to the main hall until 1pm. yes, this nets you 3 "extra" hours of playing time in the main hall, but wouldn't you rather play games in the tourney and hope to win one of the random door prizes and/or the trophies?
clay and some of the the members have created some rather "interesting" and pretty cool trophies for this year
I'm thinking of making people who intentionally bow out of the tourney wear a "pinball loser" dunce cap and being followed around for the remainder of the day by a nun ringing a bell that repeatedly shouts out "SHAME!"
I'm not able to be at the tourney, but happy to be the dunce....
Let me know where to sign up
Quoted from Bribo13:In need of 2 ( two) Friday tickets..Not the Friday em Tourney , Just regular Friday tickets.
Thank you
Brian
You mean to tell me the royalty of ortonville has to be cast among the scraps of the village locals?
Quoted from Bribo13:Lol .... I need a couple tickets for a friend ...he was to slow and got left out in the cold... Hope to see you there Josh, you are going aren't you ?
I will be there later on Saturday and all day Sunday...
I will be there for my annual Saturday. I'll be sure to find you somewhere
Now begins the yearly debate....
Do I swap off my winter wheels before making the drive out there or not.?
Hmm
I've swapped prior to the drive every year so far, and likely will again.
Just always on my mind as I drive through some pretty rural stretches where weather can be demanding.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Throw a pair in the trunk, that is if you have wheel rims to go with 'em.
My trunk is the size of a shoebox. I couldn't even fit one wheel in there.... Let alone 4. Hahhaha.
Quoted from MiSC90:We tried to get a Wanka but were unable to obtain one. The VFW did get a Beatles and will be there ready to play.
Wanka eh..... I am a professional if anyone needs tips or tricks.
Quoted from birdgre1:We have decided it is time to move on from my original Black Knight. It's pretty nice looking but eventually ran into some sort of board problems and no longer functions. I'm attaching a photo. I live an hour or so from the Ann Arbor Show this weekend and if anyone was interested in it I can bring it to the show Friday morning and hopefully leave it there for exchange or find a time when we could meet there.
Send me a message and we can discuss more details, more photos, and a price.

The show is NEXT weekend.... Don't mix the dates up
Quoted from Jjsmooth:Single level.
Like Seawitch.
Like TNA.
Yes, I know, but it's roughly the same cabinet as what it's next to.
I was playing a Beatles tonight and it wasn't significantly different from it's surroundings.
Just looks really short in that pic
I'm heading to work, but I'll be Michigan bound in a few hours.
Hitting up Marvin's tonight, see y'all at VFW tomorrow!
