Looking good.....

#3 2 years ago

Yeah, that’s cool

#4 2 years ago

Great idea

You come up with great mods! that walking dead zombie box is awesome.

#5 2 years ago

The typeface should match the rest of the game though.

#6 2 years ago

Very cool. Let me know if you decide to sell any!

#7 2 years ago

That’s awesome!!! You could have a really cool on with a circle of death for No Fear!

#8 2 years ago

Me want!

#9 2 years ago

Eye of Sauron for LOTR would be awesome

Yep good suggestion. Will check out if the font is out there.

I will make others up. Just need to make sure this is bullet proof before making a batch up.

PCB is completed for various pins but it does not cater for all.

#11 2 years ago

WOW amazing ! You have a price idea?

#12 2 years ago

Looking cool. Price is the deciding "must have" factor though.

#13 2 years ago

Closest text I could find.
The version classed as R&M had issues on Blender so cant use it.

Great work

#15 2 years ago

Awesome. Would love to see an AFMr (CGC) version. Also, availability to customize/personalize animation would be really cool (maybe a must for me). Of course price is a consideration as others have mentioned.

#16 2 years ago

That’s super cool!

Can we add or change the image?
Like on Rick n Morty to say either “away we go” or “new adventure”

Or "SQUANCH BALL" like the static aftermarket insert that someone made? It just fits so well...

Okay, I'm really chomping at the bit on more info about this. I know you probably can't commit to an availability, price, ability to customize video, and other details yet, but can you please let us know what platforms this would work with? Selfishly, I'm interested in the CGC games (AFMr in particular).

Just added one extra vid

Ive not looked at the CGC pins due to not having one.
I would need info on the shooter lane switch wiring etc.
If you want to help out in that PM me.

#21 2 years ago

OK one hurdle for all that want one of these is you'll have to un wire the Spooky soldered button and add spade connectors.

Following! Love this idea

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

There is also a similar option for Stern SAM/Spike systems.

And $20 cheaper!

In for a Flintstones and no fear model

I’m in for MB, AFM, FS and R&M

It's cheaper because it's just a power splitter. The one from pinball life is an actual power supply.

#31 2 years ago

I am tentatively in for one on R&M... I am just scared of what I would imagine the price might be.

Why, did you just drop $2200 on a 24K gold leaf Indy topper?

I'm sure there is a joke in there somewhere, but I obviously missed something somewhere. Now I am off to search threads on Pinside for gold Indy toppers... lol

I'll make it easy for you . . .

I had already found it and watched the SDTM video... I like toppers, but come on... that's fricken ridiculous and crazy money.

I agree, but it is pretty awesome, IMO.

Sorry @vimtoman, didn't mean to stray off topic of your great animated launch button mod.

#37 2 years ago

Looks great! Can OP post a pic of it on a workbench with a regular launch button?
Is the size bigger? Smaller?

#38 2 years ago

If you are taking lists, I'd be interested in this as well. Is it designed to be interchangable? (like universal for different games being able to update the video)

#39 2 years ago

Its a standard 60mm Launch button.
Going to be programmed with pre-set animations.
Price wise Ive not totalled as still sourcing parts.

Looking at increasing flash for more anims.

#40 2 years ago

Do you think you can mod the slingshot pop bumper top with one of those?

#41 2 years ago

Probably could do that.
Theres a nice mod for the pop already.

#42 2 years ago

I wouldn't go overkill on the start button version, it's something you only look at once to start a game.
Simple animations with same game-font "Start/etc" wording is fine.

I would tend to agree, but really I think the mod is more for the observers than the player as personally I don't stand so close to the start button to actually see/read the front of it while playing. However, I love the idea of animating it with theme integrated eye candy.

BTW, this sort of reminds me of a Nest thermostat. Function isn't really changed by having the screen, but offers more visual feedback (mesmerizing for those of us attracted to shiny objects).

#44 2 years ago

What’s the mod already available for the pop?

#45 2 years ago

So we wouldn't be able to put our own animations on it?

#46 2 years ago

"Squanch Ball" would be cool if you could work with that as an alternate option. I am interested in this mod once completed as well.

This.. I said it before too. I love the portal animation and Rick's fingers coming out flipping you off. I just wish it said Squanch Ball instead of Launch. But I would take it with Launch too if that was the final version.

#48 2 years ago

Have cleaned up and made videos more vibrant in color.
Button used to emulate shooter lane switch.

Four synced videos.
1.Plain warp
2.Pickle Rick finger
3.Rick finger
5.Launch ball anim

Final proto being made for test on friends pinball before I make the first batch.

#49 2 years ago

Love it! This might be the first cosmetic mod for R&M that I am interested in.

#50 2 years ago
