Quoted from Parkshow30:

We had the KK slider concert today, I read online that the next day it opens up the mystery boat tours that you can take once a day to other islands that will sometimes be in different seasons. That will be helpful as we are very short on bugs and I read online that’s because many of them are found in summer and we didn’t start playing until fall, and only really were able to fully explore stuff after winter hit.
My girls run around playing what they call Animal Crossing in real life. They pretend to catch bugs and fish and then hold up the toy they caught and say woo hoo! Chop wood, make DIY projects, it’s very cute. I’m usually Tom Nook or Blathers while they are playing.

It's a fun game. My daughter has been playing it off-and-on for nearly 3 years. She really enjoys the design element of the game. She decorates her house and her island around themes.

One kind crazy thing is that the restaurant "Cracker Barrel" made an island you can visit during a dream video. There is a YouTube video on how to visit it.
