Now that we’ve seen Munsters make it to production, any chance we’d ever see a TAGS pin?

For me? Dream theme. Like, instant purchase from Stern or JJP. I’m in for top tier from day one.

There’s so much you could do with the theme. So many episodes....but, obviously, black & white eps only.

I swear I think there would be a market. I’m a mid 40’s guy and I grew up on TAGS reruns. My kids love it. I don’t know that I’ve ever met anyone who absolutely *hates* the show.

I dunno. Just thinking out loud.

(Sorry if this topic has been covered; I searched and could only find show references and not pin-related stuff)

While popular for its time it’s not mainstream enough. People like the show but we are more likely to see a Bob Ross pin. They have found a way to market him and you see his face all over the place.

    never seen it

How about Martha Ray with 7 husband multiball! I'll take themes that will never be done for pinball for $1000 alex.

    Who’s Andy Griffith?

    Doubtful.

I've always loved the show too.

I would be shocked if it was ever a pin, but I would probably buy one if they did it.

That was a good show as was the spinoff, Gomer Pyle but too old for many pinheads
to remember. A more contemporary theme would be 'Married With Children'.
You could have a lot of not-so-politically correct fun with that theme! But that
show is rather old now too.

I'm on board with any way I can get Don Knotts in a pinball machine. I'd take Matlock too so I could put it next to my Columbo, Kojak, Kolchak, and Murder She Wrote pins.

I'd rather have All in the Family, Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, or Soap over Married... though.

I think there are about 50 retro shows that would be in line for a pin theme before this one

Three's Company, Regal Beagle LE includes Don Knotts!

A TAGS pin would be fun, but it doesn't have a "huge" popularity now. If I were Stern or JJP, I would be looking to license ultra popular sitcom shows like I Love Lucy and Seinfeld. Or one of the most popular syndicated shows in the history of television - how about a Judge Judy pinball machine???

I am glad the idea has at least been entertained at some point:

Considering TAGS is consistently top 5, top 10 all time, I’m not sure that premise holds water.

I'm still waiting on the season 2 blu ray for TAGS. The first one came out in 2014 and then they abandoned the line. It had a great transfer too.

My Friend from Detroit asked me where Mayberry is. He said the show is really popular among his friends in Michigan and they all want to move there.
I gave him 5 Towns to move to that are just like Mayberry, seriously to this day.
He wanted to move to the real Mayberry. A lot of people want to claim Mt. Airy is the real one since Andy grew up there.
But he got the name from a place just over the border in Virginia. There is Mabry Mill and just down the road Mayberry Trading Post.
Anyway he was sad there was no real Mayberry.

My top 5 sitcoms of all time in particular order:

    The Andy Griffith Show
    Seinfeld
    Friends
    Everybody Loves Raymond
    Arrested Development

I think it would be ok but it has to also be made into a EM version and wood rail for the time.

By the way Goober on the modern one would say SHAZAM! It would burn DC somewhat.

Have any of you watched the video teasers for the upcoming Punny Factory Pinball? The narrator is Don Knotts...well, a voice actor pretending to be Knotts. I don’t know how they can get away with doing that legally speaking.

I've heard a commercial or two with his voice. Danville Indiana has a Mayberry Cafe that has actors sometimes play the characters from the show it's a big thing there.

It better have an Otis multiball. Gotta have "take me to your leader" (Mojo Nixon) as a song/mode....... O.T.I.S Otis is the very best!
