Piloting a hydrofoil from the UK to Australia on the open oceans to save a few bucks? First half of the trip seems pretty do-able. Last part seems crazy.
Yeah, I'm sure that con artist will really be taking people for a ride. Don't be surprised when that thing sinks in-harbor in an insurance scam.
That's funny because I was JUST thinking about the hydrofoil scam a few days ago. Wonder how many people are already asking about updates and time frames?
Where else does he get all his money from? No idea how much he paid for that hydrofoil (and the second one he bought for spares). And then new engines and such. And then to sail it from Italy to Australia? The article mentions at least 9,500 miles. That thing currently has a range of 300 miles on 3,000 litres of diesel. Comes in at 93,000 litres of diesel for the trip.
