Quoted from MK6PIN:Actually, when I powered the machine off, it stayed up...
Swear I felt the coil buzzing underneath....need a repair break....ordered rebuild kit, as I'd already changed the sleeve and bushing, to no avail. Must be the mech sticking slightly.....
Checked for mushroomed plunger or loose coil stop end, that will do it too. I have a SW machine that I look after on site for a friend of mine. The flipper would occasionally get stuck up on that game. Turned out the nylon bush that activates the EOS switch had turned 90 degrees and was getting caught on the EOS blades of the switch. Took me a bit to work it out maybe check that too. Sounds like you are all over the rest of it.
Good luck
