I think with the sequel coming out next summer, "Anchorman. The Legend of Ron Burgundy" would make a completely awesome pin. Something that's entirely humor versus sci-fi based. Can you imagine the call outs on this? Someone call Stern!

Insta-purchase if there ever was one

    #3 11 years ago

    I love lamp.

Brian Fantana: I'll give this little cookie an hour before we're doing the no-pants dance. Time to musk up.

Ron Burgundy: Wow. Never ceases to amaze me. What cologne you gonna go with? London Gentleman, or wait. No, no, no. Hold on. Blackbeard's Delight.

Brian Fantana: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.

Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should probably find yourself a safe house or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

    #8 11 years ago

I'd buy one NIB. And there will be great music.

    #9 11 years ago

I want to see the Christina Applegate toys on that pin!

    #10 11 years ago

Ron: Look! The most glorious rainbow ever.
    Veronica: Do me on it!

    #11 11 years ago

"baxter? You wanna chase the Multiball? Bark twice if your in milwaukee"

    #17 11 years ago

I watched it again recently. It was the first time I had seen it since the theater. To be honest, I remembered it being funnier.

    #18 11 years ago

I don't know WHAT I AM YELLING ABOUT!!

    #19 11 years ago

    Pinball; it means "Whale's Vagina".

What is that? Smells like a turd covered in burnt hair.

"Super Jackpot?...Damn it! Who put a question mark on the teleprompter!"

"You Stay Classy" On Game Over screen.

    #26 11 years ago

Stern would place a Ron Burgundy bust figure with flexed arms on the playfield. When you park the balls on his biceps you hear "TWO TICKETS TO THE GUNSHOW" which starts the multiball.

    #27 11 years ago

"Great Odin's raven!" - Top score.

    #28 11 years ago

I would buy this without thinking.

    Whore Island multiball.

    Dorothy Mantooth mutliball

And the cab would be be made of rich mahogany and smell like many leather bound books.

    #29 11 years ago

Awesome movie for a pinball. So many great lines.

    #30 11 years ago

This would be a dream theme pin for me..."The human torch was denied a bank loan"

Collect all items for Anchor BRAWL Multiball!!! (Grenade, Bedpost, Trident)
    Panda Watch FRENZY
    Scotch super pops
    Afternoon Delight reward

    Aaaah...it will never happen...

I think it all depends on who you watch it with. I hated it the first time, but I gave it another shot and watch it with some friends. Now, I can't understand what I didn't like about it the first time.

Having said that, I'm just not sure it would make that great of a pinball machine. I just don't know if the theme screams pinball.

If any cult movie deserves to be made into a pin, it's Office Space.

    #33 11 years ago

Knights of Columbus! Straight down the middle!

    #34 11 years ago

    Mustache multi-ball!

    Hard to argue there...Michael Bolton..?

A good shout out could be...You need more FLARE!

    #36 11 years ago
    Quoted from pinballlife:

    Pinball; it means "Whale's Vagina".

Ron Burgundy: Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
Veronica Corningstone: No, there's no way that's correct.
Ron Burgundy: I'm sorry, I was trying to impress you. I don't know what it means. I'll be honest, I don't think anyone knows what it means anymore. Scholars maintain that the translation was lost hundreds of years ago.
Veronica Corningstone: Doesn't it mean Saint Diego?
    Ron Burgundy: No. No.
Veronica Corningstone: No, that's - that's what it means. Really.
    Ron Burgundy: Agree to disagree.

I celebrate the guy's entire catalog.

    #38 11 years ago

Make it and I will buy 2.

    #39 11 years ago

Not overly impressed with an Office Space theme either, but at least you could have a copier bash toy with various insults each time you hit it.

Again, love the movie, but not the right feel for pinball.

    #40 11 years ago

I would have never made a South Park pin, but it worked.
I would love to see an anchorman pin

    #41 11 years ago

Brick Tamland: [opposing women in the newsroom] I read somewhere their periods attract bears. Bears can smell the menstruation.
Brian Fantana: Well, that's just great. You hear that, Ed? Bears. Now you're putting the whole station in jeopardy.

    #42 11 years ago

I'd certainly pump tons of change into one. Not in a position to buy nib. But love the idea.

    Obviously, you're NOT a golfer.......

    #44 11 years ago

The random one line nature of the film is ironically very applicable to pinball. While I can't imagine how they would come up with art for the thing, I would be very interested in that theme.

    Quoted from PorkChopExpress:

I used to be an avid golfer until I injured my hip about five years ago. I still play every once in a while, but not like I used to.

Were the hell... is my stapler?

    Wwwwhhhhhhhssssss....

That's the sound of that going over your head.

PS: "It's down there somewhere let me take another look."

    #48 11 years ago

    snap....

    #49 11 years ago

I hope that doesn't come across as mean. It was just meant to be funny. Anyway, just google one of the quotes and then watch the movie. You only need to watch 5 minutes to hear the context of both quotes. Funny stuff.

I had to look it up. While I think TBL is a great flick, I don't know all the quotes from it the way I do Office Space. I actually assumed it was some obscure reference from Anchorman. I wasn't expecting him to segue to a completely different movie.
