Anastasia Bowling Lanes Bar Arcade in St Augustine FL
    3245 A1A S, St Augustine, FL 32080
    https://pinside.com/pinball/map/where-to-play/anastasia-bowling-lanes-bowling-alley-st-augustine-fl

This pinball bar arcade area was just put into place and adds many newer STERN games to the area.
This bowling alley previously had 1 or 2 new Sterns but now has 7.
It's basically a bar with 1 pool table a juke box and a change machine and the main event of 7 pinball machines.
The games were just recently setup and I'll give a run down of how they are setup/play.

This line-up now helps to further put the 904 area code region on the map more as a pinball area.
I'm hyped to look forward to changes in the line-ups and events in the future!

I grew up in St. Augustine, and my parents still live there. I am always bored out of my head when I visit, so I am shocked and delighted to see such a solid lineup in that area. Maybe I will head home next Xmas!

avatar $1.25 / play? Geez Louise! I'm in the wrong business.

Avatar and Simpsons were replaced by...
THE HOBBIT and ATTACK FROM MARS yesterday!

Going soon to take photos and footage!

    Nice line-up.

How is the bowling in that place?

    It's typical bowling.

Been here twice in the last few weeks and will visit again. Great lineup of well maintained pins and most are set to 3 plays for $2 which is very reasonable. Visit at the right time and you pretty much have the place to yourself. If you aren't into bowling alley food, Obi's on A1A has great burgers and Mojo's (downtown) has great barbecue.

    #9 8 years ago

I'll be there in 2 weeks for a little relaxation, I will come check it out

Probably the prettiest Avatar I've seen, but tried it once and yep, still don't like Avatar. I just don't think Avatar gets a lot of repeat plays. It's gone now though and replaced with a favorite of ours, AFM.

My parents also live in St. Augustine and I feel the exact same way! At least your excuse is better, I'm only in Tampa!

I ended getting 2nd place High Score on the Hobbit 602K points.
It's really a grind to get up that high, still figuring out the rules haha.

My wife and kids won't be happy about AFM going away, but happy to see TWD. What was the prob with The Hobbit?

I hadn't caught this thread before, here's my review of your place, amongst other things I did on a recent Florida trip.

    Long story short, loved it!

    #18 7 years ago

Stopped by today. Can't believe how loud Ghostbusters is, but I sure did like it. TWD played great too.

Played it today. Wife and I both enjoyed it.

    #24 7 years ago

Batman 66 tight is now tournament tight.
All games are now set to tournament difficulty for their league season.
P.S... they don't typically if ever change settings back to casual player settings in-between seasons.

    #25 7 years ago

    I haven't changed a thing.

But glass half full it might make you better!

    #26 7 years ago

    P.S. They all work

    Thumbs up for that!

The Tony Scoleri drop target was still not dropping on hits as of last week. Not sure about Slimer.

Both of those items worked fine for us last night at league. 16 people 24 total games played. It was played in every round but one.

Maybe somebody fixed it. It hasn't dropped from a ball hit for me in the last 3 visits. I've hit the target gently, smacked it hard dead on, hit it from the side, and even from behind. It doesn't go down. Maybe I should take it to see a play?

Sure thing. I'm an out-of-towner. When do you guys do the league thing?

    #33 7 years ago

Every other Tuesday at 7:30. If you want updates, silver ball rollers on Facebook would be the group to join. There's also a league every off Tuesday in ormond beach at cafe one

New era games are $1 a play or 3 for $2
The Classics are 50 cents a play

This is the best line-up in the 904 area code
and it will get better again soon.

    #37 6 years ago

Was just there a couple days ago. Please don't get rid of Batman. We just love the theme.

Now now be nice to St Augustine I live here . Old St Augustine is a tourist trap and it deserves it IMO. I don't have as nice a selection but not too shabby.

Heading out to Florida next month, I'm looking at PinballMap and it says you only have 3 machines now? Is that accurate?

    Cheers!

Bummer. I'll be there this weekend and I always try to stop by and throw some coins in. I actually liked Nascar last time I was there.

Cafe One in Ormond Beach is worth a drive. I think there are 7 or 8 pins, mostly newer, and all in great shape.

There are also 3 pins on location at Planet Sarbez, a few miles north of the Lanes up by the Bridge of Lions. GB, GOT, and SW pros, all playing pretty decently last weekend. They have a few classic-ish vids there also, like Ghosts N Goblins, etc. They have gourmet grilled cheeses (CBTA is my fav), and great beers on tap. Cool place, actually.

I'm not sure what 3 are currently at the Lanes. Cody was rotating 3-4 around pretty good for awhile. Last time I was there I think it was Nascar, NF, and F-14.

    #48 5 years ago

Just ship me a text when in the area. You can stop by the casa and really rage on some pins.

    #49 5 years ago

Yes , between Cafe One and Sassy's world of Ice Cream we will have over 20 pins located in the same plaza. Including IMDN, SWLE, TNA, Dialed In, GOTG, AFMLE. Ice cream shop opens tomorrow .
