    As was noted above, you need a plant. Note how he almost has the girl do it, then he switches to the random guy a second later.

    Notice how the guy's signature was sort of bizarre, not just loopy cursive or block letters. That pattern helps the writer remember how to do it the same way each time, and if it's not perfect, it helps the audience "believe" that it's the same signature since it's so unique. Pretty damn good, still. But what a a pain to have to open the glass just to get the damn card in and out!
