Picked up an Amigo that needs plenty of love. Seems like a project that I could continue my EM education. I have the game starting, finally. Two remaining issues.

1. One of the pop bumpers is not firing the coil. If I bridge to another bumper coil it fires. I also checked with the meter not seeing any signs of life. I would think I now need to check for wire breakage just not sure where the wire goes to.

2. 1s player score real for the 1000's the coil is not getting power. Again seems like i now need to check for wire breakage just not sure where to look.

Thanks for any help.

Quoted from waldo34:

1. One of the pop bumpers is not firing the coil. If I bridge to another bumper coil it fires.

Each (Left or Right) Thumper Bumper (Bally terminology) has its own (Left or Right) Thumper Bumper relay. Does the corresponding relay acitvate when this happens?

Quoted from waldo34:

2. 1s player score real for the 1000's the coil is not getting power.

If the Score Reels for the other 3 players work,
starting with the Player Up Unit disc and wiper,
Inspect and diagnose this circuit with Alligator clip jumper wires
