Quoted from ThatGuyBo:Finally got around to wiring up the topper and installing plastic protectors.
Seems to be getting a little more love now.

Looks great! My topper didn’t show the red light in the windows very well, so I took a flimsy, white cutting board and cut it in the shape of the house (I think 3 separate pieces) and slid these between the from and the back…reflecting the red light out the windows. It made the red light much more evident.
DEC0752F-647C-4036-9C11-37E64955E18A (resized).jpegThe base is a pretty easy question. That's a standard Williams base.

If you have to replace the coil stop as well, that's a bit more tricky. It sure would be nice to have a published BOM.

Sorry, yes coil stop. That’s what i meant. I can’t find what one is used. If I buy a complete flipper assembly…does it matter what coil stop I put in there?
Yes, it does matter. Different stops will affect the travel of the flipper. My best guess would be a A-12390, but that's just based on the most commonly used stop on WPC games. Do you have calipers to measure the height of the cylinder portion?
From Marco's A-12390 description:
"Overall length of bracket is 1-1/4in, overall width of bracket is 1-7/16in, overall depth of bracket is 7/8in, distance from screw hole to hole measures 7/8in, and core length is 5/16in."

That’s what I’ve ordered as that seemed to fit correctly. We will see. If it’s different, I guess coil stops are cheap and easy to swap out. I’ll try post if this is correct or not.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:What pin2dmd works with AMH and how do you power it ?
Latest firmware pin2dmd with a patch installed on AMH itself.
Can someone post a picture of the complete inside the backbox showing the board and everything for AMH please ?
Quoted from EasternBloc:Here ya go.
[quoted image]
Thanks do you have one with the complete back box ? I'm trying to see if i remove the backbox how how much stuff needs unhooked ect.
That's the whole backbox; nothing else in there. I used this photo for reference when I had to pull the board a few years back. Really easy, just document where each molex goes or number them with painter's tape. Hope this helps. Happy to take any additional needed photos you might need after work.

What about the led strips ?
So look likei would have to remove the led strips to get back box clear to remove. I guess i can get them back on pretty easy with a glue or something

Could cut wires and add a connector in between. Might be easier than removing the strips and reattaching them.

Any idea on good connector to use ?

Maybe something like this? You use connectors on either side like what you connect to the boards in the head. Not sure how many wires you have, but there are a few size options.

45 total sets, which includes the set that's in my game, and set #2 that was gifted to Spooky (not sure what the fate of that set was).
So 43 out there beyond those.
They were a hand numbered, limited set, and no longer available.

Totally changes the look of the pin…really makes it what it was supposed to be. I wouldn’t call this a mod…I’d call it a total pin enhancement. So tankful I got one!
I just got a AMH again and any idea on where to get servos and leds strips ? This one needs some minor fixes but i plan on upgrading the armor, pin2dmd, topper sound mod ect. I would of loved to get the Medisinyl mod but at time i could of gotten it money was not right. But i plan on making mine special stay tooned for pics once all done.
2 tech questions
Servo door is not right is there away to adjust or should just replace ?
Some leds on strip are out and side ones came off. Should i just replace them ?
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:I just got a AMH again and any idea on where to get servos
The "Axial Tactic TSX45" is a metal gear upgrade over the stock servos.

What AV firmware version does it report when you boot? Since you are still getting audio from the stock port, that means you have some good firmware loaded. We need to confirm it's the right firmware, though.
Hardware looks OK from what I can see. Could you post some close pics of the installation?
It's also possible you just got a bad DAC board.

It's ver 70 and when boots you see 2 dots on the right side of dmd. Here are pics
PXL_20230107_220918986~3 (resized).jpgPXL_20230108_142518624 (resized).jpgIt looks like jumper 3 might be connected to L, but I can't tell from the pictures because the details are blurry.
Two dots, like a colon? V70 is correct if you have the green Xpin DMD. It should say "A/V FIRMWARE: 70"

Here is a better pic and yeah like colon. Now its just showing 1 dot at boot. I think i just need to change the jumper 3 to fix. The board i got had nothing connected on any of the jumpers.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:Now its just showing 1 dot at boot.
I'm confused as to what's going on there. If that's on the version display screen, it would be abnormal.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:I think i just need to change the jumper 3 to fix.
I would agree, based on what I can see. Make sure there are no copper jumpers built into the PCB. If you end up shorting H to L, it would not work, and it may even damage the DAC board.

Thanks for your help I changed the jumper 3 and now works fine. The dot is only at boot. But now just waiting on new servos and other parts to come. Any suggestions on led strips ? Mine have some not working.
Need help installed pin2dmd this what I get it also takes long time boot up the pinball. When the pin2dmd boots up it says spooky but then goes to this screen. Also sound stopped working. I discovered i used the files that were not for the ver with the sound mod and now wont update i just get that screen. I tried to recover but i have a mac and kinda works but does not seem to update the chip.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:If anyone is interested in the stock back glass or any of stock amh armor lmk will be selling soon.
Curious what backglass you replaced it with.

the original green backglass
I attempted the Propeller recovery but both on windows and mac it flashes a error right after saying downloading.
Quoted from 2Kaulitz:My coin door stopped working I found this black wire from molex connecter that came off. I believe it needs to be wired to the black wire on the start switch?

If you got the files from my website, they do support the sound mod. I don't even have non sound mod files posted.
You're seeing SFX ERROR, and it is the correct color, which means you have working firmware for your display, but it can't find the sound data on the SD card. The most common problem is the card wasn't formatted before copying files to it. Do a full format, not a quick one.
That would also explain why trying to use the recovery isn't working. It still requires that it can read the firmware file from the SD card to program it.

One sd card i tried i get just a blank screen with the waiting for pinball to boot up. The other card i get that error but still the long wait. Anyway ill try again tonight and let you know thx for the help

Finally working now thx HERG for your help.
Fully Formatted a the card I was using and still the same issue with the error. Plus trying to recover got a fail.
Formatted a older card i had from the pin fully formatted and this time i got a blank screen. Then i did the recovery and it worked after that.

The sound mod runs in parallel to the stock sound. There were already three different versions for the three different displays, which is unfortunately unavoidable. I didn't want people to have to choose from six possibilities, so I removed the versions that don't support the sound mod. I'm glad you got it working.

Again thx for your help and plus all you have done for pinball in general
