You know you made the wrong choice when people are more concerned about the game after this one.

Quoted from EricHadley:Why is everyone so negative about the remake???
Its like being told there is a present under the tree with your name on it. You knew it was coming, you saw it under the tree, you finally got to open it after waiting for christmas morning... and your mom bought you duplo blocks instead of lego.
Yeah its a building block, but you'd rather have the gold standard. Out of the entire williams library, AFM is popular, but people want another high end title like MB, CC, BBB, or King pin. yeah AFM is nice, but you arn't getting a $4k discount on the game like you were when you bought MM.
Quoted from Azmodeus:I think that planetary remaking these games is an excellent thing for the industry.
Of course they need to make money, too thus pushing me into the role of quarter pusher, not owner.
I hope they make monster bash I want mm and Mars but would probably spring for a bash remake. Don't ask me why, just would.
Actually I would say that in the future I hope to definetally own one or all of these remakes, and I truly hope they continue to get produced.
Its be better for the industry if they actually started selling parts. I don't see many MM parts put up for sale.
Quoted from Rarehero:I've heard that AFM was originally going to have more movement for the ship and it was costed out. Perhaps they're going back to what the designers had originally intended?
I would imagine most of the documentation for stuff like that was lost over the years. Rick didn't even have uncompressed audio files. Would have thought those would have been saved
Quoted from ezeltmann:This is direct knowledge from talking to the owner (last night) mainly because of how pissed i was at the fact that they did not send him new trim. It obviously was never de-burred.
Rick got really really mad when I said he deserved to be sued. I'm not saying that again, but he is walking a fine line. All it takes is for some kid running towards a pinball machine, tripping, and slicing their face on the side of the trim for a lawsuit to be waiting to happen.
If rick reads this, send the guy new trim.
Quoted from nosro:I can't tell if the remarks about this are serious or not. I'm also not sure how "sharp" these edges are. Mine were slightly sharp. 2 minutes with a Dremel and I was done.
If a problem like that is sufficient to sway a person's buying decision, that person shouldn't be buying NIB in the first place. I'm slightly amused by the number of people new to the hobby who buy a NIB MMR as their first machine and are shocked, SHOCKED, that it's not perfect out of the box like their new Playstation.
$8,000.00 and you want quality. At least, most people do.
Quoted from Taxman:As of tomorrow it will be a done deal in the making.
What happens tomorrow?
Quoted from paynemic:Official.
That game three discussion is 4 years too soon to think about
Quoted from PinballSTAR:Duplicate post
Thats why I did the air quotes, advertising a game, giving out contact info, all you didn't ask for is a deposit and you have a full blown preorder.
