I know a MMr owner who received a machine (recently) and the ALL metal trim had sharp edges.
Several customers where getting cut (bleeding) while playing.
Customer services solution : They sent him a sanding block.
Buyer beware.

Quoted from flynnibus:Seriously Ed? I mean.. that starts to get into true liability land..
This is direct knowledge from talking to the owner (last night) mainly because of how pissed i was at the fact that they did not send him new trim. It obviously was never de-burred.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:sorry but that sound totally ridiculous!
If you are trying to call BS, i don't blame you.
You can always investigate my existence and see if i like to troll and spread false info.
Quoted from nosro:I can't tell if the remarks about this are serious or not. I'm also not sure how "sharp" these edges are. Mine were slightly sharp. 2 minutes with a Dremel and I was done.
If a problem like that is sufficient to sway a person's buying decision, that person shouldn't be buying NIB in the first place. I'm slightly amused by the number of people new to the hobby who buy a NIB MMR as their first machine and are shocked, SHOCKED, that it's not perfect out of the box like their new Playstation.
This is 100% real and if you are really wanting to check up on it , call rock fantasy and ask to speak to the owner. He will be slight amused if you think if he is new to the hobby.
A player in the recent tournament showed me the bandaid he brought in case he had to play the game. This is about receiving a product with DEFECTIVE unfinished parts.
A machine in a commercial location that as injuring people because of a fuck up at the factory isn't something that should be shrugged off as someone whining about not receiving a perfect product. Not one edge was finished at the factory = defective. There are some who are comfortable with performing what would seem like easy tasks to you and others who are not.
I do think he should have had the foresight to cover and or dremel to remove this edge. Still i think it's absurd to deliver a product with obviously dangerous edges and they tell the customer to finish the part themselves. The warning is for those that agree with this.
