    Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has ever had to replace a cable on the claw of a 1976 junkyard game? The cable that operates the closing action has severed

Any help would be great thanks

I’ve got a Junkyard Crane! Very cool game!

The cables look to be nothing more than approximately 14 gauge wire with clear insulation. I’d think you could use any insulated wire in it’s place if you had to.

How the heck did the wire get severed?

I have no idea what happened. Went to play it with the kids and it was just dangling there. I looks like it let go about a 1/2” back from the top crimp.

Thanks for the idea I’ll see what I can find to try. Thanks
