Quoted from rosh:

Yeah, probably the worse presentation I have ever given. Between being exhausted and distracted by knowing the Michigan basketball game was starting,

I just like the fact that the UM game was distracting great presentation though! Go blue!

Does anyone know of a Houdini on location in Austin or San Antonio?

Finally had the chance to play a Houdini. It was at lvl 257 in Schaumburg and what a blast! I kept reading about how tight the shots are, and that surely didn’t disapppoint. The shots were tricky, but after getting a few games in me I was able to make them a little more reliably. It really is a beautiful game in person, and the theme is well integrated throughout. The lights are effective at telling you where to aim and the ruleset is great (although challenging). The call outs were good and I really enjoyed the sounds effects. It’s always a good feeling knowing that a game you just played will make its way into your collection.

Finally joined the club...what a great game!! Power source was really easy to install. This game is so much better to play in a home environment where you can hear the music and snarky comments so much better. I’m looking so forward to getting more flips in on this beauty!

Quoted from pinballinreno:

Congrats on your new game! It a beauty that's for sure.
Feel free to ask for tips on setup as you get into it, if needed.

Great write up on initial setup! Mine has been playing pretty well so far, but I’m not sure if my “stage alley” is playing as it should. When hitting that shot, should it make it all the way to the stage? Mine usually gets hung up in the pops

Quoted from wesman:

Can someone post a photo if they find this?

They’re just the lights on the images of the locks...very convenient and well thought out. Once again, they turn turquoise

Quoted from rosh:

Not sure I'd go that far...

Hahaha...you could’ve fooled me...locks for locks...just seemed too clever not to be thought out. I like how I don’t have to look up to check on the screen too

Quoted from PhantomO:

What are your top 3 favorite Houdini stage modes to play.

1. Bullet catch (just love him saying “I will now catch a BULLET with my TEETH”...and it’s so satisfying to complete)
2. Straight jacket...just a lot of fun
3. Probably king of cards...nice change-up from straight pinball action
