Was over in NYC last weekend and got chance to play the Houdini located at the Sunshine Laundromat. I was so stoked for this game, it looked as good as I expected it to, but when I started to play it things changed... I'd read the shots were hard and challenging, but something felt off. The orbits were fluid and easy to make, but that was about it as everything else felt really hard. The flippers felt on the weak side so maybe this was something to do with it? After a good few dollars worth of games I walked away to play the other machines.

This game was on my want list but my first experience was not a great one. Are all of these machines playing the same way? Could setup have something to do with it?

Just to say thanks for all the comments on the location machine I played, clearly setup is critical. I'll look for another machine and hope for a better experience next time
