Hi Guys:

I have played a few games on Houdini and am really trying to love it but I am 'on the fence' about buying one. I love the theme, art, LCD and toys but the gameplay didn't grab me. Having said that, I didn't know the rules, so was just shooting the balls around.

There seems to be quite a number coming up for sale or trade, with very low plays, here and in other pinball groups.

In hindsight, would all or most of you buy Houdini again, after owning it for a while?

No flames, please. Just helpful, honest, opinions will help me decide.

I had this exact same problem. Loosened the screws that hold the catapault mechanism to the playfield, moved the mechanism a fraction the other way and held it there firmly while retightening the screws. Now, every shot is center trunk!

I had a Houdini a while back and sold it.

I missed it so much that, today, I ordered a NIB one, along with Hot Wheels!

Can’t wait to get them both in the house.

Guys, if you are wondering and I know it has been said before but the build quality of AP machines is second to none, not to mention the gorgeous powder coated armor on Houdini.

Waiting for my NIB Houdini to arrive, so new to this.

What is expected from the 'new production code'?

What is expected in the next software update?

Just heard that my NIB Houdini is shipping Monday.

Love my Houdini but how cool would it have been if there were real curtains behind the backglass that would open and close!

Interesting you say this, as I was thinking that it can't be modded due to no software support.

But now..... c'mon modders, do your stuff! I would pay handsomely for a mod like this!

Hey guys:

Quick question about the Houdini knocker kit.

I know I will have to change the settings to physical knocker but does this physical knocker activate more frequently than the standard 'digital sound' knocker?

I don't mind the standard 'digital' knocker that my Houdini currently has but would buy the physical knocker kit if it activated more frequently and for various modes.

Don't do it! You will quickly regret selling it! Try and find a way to keep it!

I am on my third Houdini! I bought the first one, sold it after a while and missed it so much I bought another one.

Sold my second one after a while and missed it so much (again), I bought my third one!!

Like yourself, mine is dialed in perfectly, which takes it to a whole new level!
