Quoted from Freddykaboodle:

I would like to give a big shout out to Dave Brennan from API.

I could have just upvoted your post, but I’ll intentionally give another shout for Dave. I had a cascade of isssues and I literally emailed Dave everyday for like 10 days straight. It’s nice to know that you will get an actionable response EVERY day without having to bug them with follow ups and pleas for help. Thank you Dave and American Pinball!

How do you start coop?

Hold the right flipper before starting game!

Quoted from Optimiser:

I rolled back to previous code and still blank Houdini info screen. Also I noticed the other screens/animations like credits etc, are a bit laggy (less smooth movement) compared to before.
Any ideas?

If you have those choppy screens instead of smooth animations…then it could be the VGA output from the computer. I don’t know why, but if your vga is not connected, the main screen gets very choppy and the screen and lights are delayed during gameplay. That, and if your power driver connection got switched seems to create those issues. At least it did on mine and Dave at API walked me through the VGA output test. If that’s your issue - give me a holla.

Quoted from Snugs:

having issues w/ playfield video screen. getting power but lights up light grey only with no images being displayed. took plastic enclosure over screen off today to jiggle the connectors then replace VGA cable with one I bought off AP site but still...nothing. Now the video on main screen is "stuttering". images are clear but sound is a little out of sync. Animations are still crystal clear but not even slightly fluid. images freeze for a split second every 3 secs or so. anyone experience issues with either API screen or main screen jumping/stuttering? Call outs are delayed and now lights are in sync with the stuttering video and change on beat w/ the sound. It's like the OS needs a reboot. yes turned it off/on and unplugged from wall etc. Will email AP directly as well but its Sunday night and I'm dying to get a few games of Houdini in. Hoping another owner had a similar situation and has a fix he/she could pass along.

I had that issue. See Post 13278. This happened to me if the VGA output was not connected to a monitor. Don’t know why. I tested by running the vga to an external monitor and confirmed the games screen then worked fine. As an interim fix until I got a new mini screen, I just left a computer monitor in my cabinet connected to the vga. That fixed the glitchiness and delays.

Reverse inverted always. Then I always double flip…or double hold. Then it’s basically just playing inverted as a child. My mind can’t figure out what the heck I’m doing otherwise!!!!

Quoted from bobukcat:

But doing so will put you into chimp-flip penalty mode where you kill the 3x jackpots until you stop doing it

Hold the phone….when did this chimp flipper monkey come from?!?! I had no idea that was a thing. I mean, who actually looks at the screen when all these balls are rolling around?!?! And if he’s heckling me…I guess I’ve been too focused to hear it!

Quoted from punkin:

Fucking up my resale value though.

LOL. In reality though, this is how every games resale value was two years ago. It was quite difficult to sell a used game for more than the NIB price in the past!

Quoted from pinballinreno:

Its not an easy decision... but, I have way too many games right now.
My game is perfectly dialed in and plays exceptionally well.
Lots of time spent on this. But Pinballgoddess bought a CCrLE... I have to set it up in the gameroom lol.

Good news though…you won’t have to make room for a long time! How long you ask? It’s a mystery….
