Bummer...I was hoping you would make Pintastic.
Quoted from rosh:
As I have said previously, to me production is when machines are going off the line, and while we have a few dozen cabinets ready and a couple of dozen playfields that are > 90% done, they are not rolling off the line. However, I expect that to change in the next couple of days, as we got most of the missing parts earlier this week and the last missing items, I am being told, will be here tomorrow. Accordingly, unless some new issue pops up, always a possibility, I would expect that machines will start rolling off the line next week. I will say that the first couple of dozen games will go through the standard testing and inspection done by our production team, but these first machines will also be individually inspected by Joe, Jim and myself. Once those machines pass inspection, they will be shipping. Our stated goal has always been to start shipping games before end of year. We are going to do everything we can to get as many out the door as we can.
Thanks for the continued excellent communication! I am looking forward to this addition as soon as it's ready.
The developing reputation has me thinking of canceling my order......I'm an average player at best and don't think frustration equals fun.
Quoted from vireland:
It's plenty fun. If you suck at making the shots, you'll activate plenty of SEANCE multiball, which is entertaining in and of itself.
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:
ve owned a lot of pinballs, this is perhaps one of the best ever. Everthing gets easier with practice.
Thanks, I hope one shows up around here I can play.
Quoted from transprtr4u:
Shaker came today, easy install!
Pleased with the use of shaker, love the perfect timing on the trunk lid slam! Have yet to feel it during "vanishing elephant"
Those awaiting your games well worth the price for this addition!
I installed mine last night, i'm sure it can only get better.
Quoted from rogerdodger:
I have played a few games on Houdini and am really trying to love it but I am 'on the fence' about buying one. I love the theme, art, LCD and toys but the gameplay didn't grab me. Having said that, I didn't know the rules, so was just shooting the balls around.
There seems to be quite a number coming up for sale or trade, with very low plays, here and in other pinball groups.
In hindsight, would all or most of you buy Houdini again, after owning it for a while?
No flames, please. Just helpful, honest, opinions will help me decide.
Thanks so much.
I was on the fence and came close to canceling my order after the first reviews came out. I can tell you this game is now bolted to the floor and not leaving.
This game will only get better as they finish up the code.
Call Barry, he will explain what you need to do. It's a ball hang up in the subway.
