Checked the vga extension cable and it's zip tied tight. Checked the connection inside the head and it's screwed in.

Haven't yet upgraded to the latest software. Machine was a July build.
It's the power cable unplugged in head box to the monitor

Sorry small lcd, the pc inside has 2 monitor cables one for headbox and the other the backbox, probably unplugged

on a dual winding coil it does matter it swaps the power over to the hold coil from the power coil, without a EOS the flipper either will be dead or might go up very slowly

no it doesn't, go put a business card across the EOS contacts and flip the game, it will only operate on the hold circuit and be lucky if the flipper will have any power to flip the game on a normally closed EOS, software does not compensate.
From what I was advised by the manufacturer was the mains power dropping in the USA in warmer weather below 110v
here they are set to 240v and 1/2 the amperage at the higher voltage
we had another 1,000 games on our showroom game with no power supply issue.
I ran the game on a variac at 110v and changed the game to 110v, dropped the voltage down to 105v and saw the problem described, but can't see the fault running on the 240v mains

All the Australian ones needed a Thermister Changed and a separate Power supply Fitted to run Coils
The games are still available new in Australia with all options

looks like just a 10,000uf 63v cap across the 48v Line
seems the problem is not with flipper power it's when the flipper bat is in the up position and a ball hits the bat it drops down and flipper button needs to be re pushed to go back up.
does this Mod with the capacitor address this issue?

Updated code also had a positive effect on this issue.
