Quoted from konjurer:

I've been a little critical of the animations in this thread. Great American Pinball just posted probably the best video of the LCD animations and they look pretty fantastic. GAP's camera picks up a lot more detail and the colors are more clear and vivid than Josh's video. Looks great. More excited than ever to get Houdini.

Thanks for posting this. That is how you shoot a video. Especially love beginning of video pointing out features in action. Nice video editing. Someone needs to hire you to do this for all new game launches. Bravo my friend.

Rosh standing ovation (sincerely) for the stellar communications in this thread. This is how you communicate with your customers. The transparency is so refreshing. Seriously, keep up the great work.

I was at AP when they had an open house a few months back. The defect playfields Rosh pointed out to us - and none of us could identify the issues. Really working hard to deliver quality checked games, even for us anal pinball enthusiasts.

I'm about to jump in and buy one NIB even though I swore no more only HOU. In other threads where quality is sub standard we say speak with your wallet. Well, I'm ready to speak with my wallet. Bravo team AP!

Rosh just a heads up. Played Houdini at 257 yesterday. A ball is stuck in the stage area - but it did not effect game play. Left flipper was a bit weak but we could still hit the shots. And the trunk lock missed almost every time so may need adjustment.

Game still played very well. As a side, it was being played a lot in the two hours we were there. Met a few other pinheads who made the trek to sample the game.

Anyone have suggestions on how to get the pop bumpers more responsive? Mine are very lethargic and one doesn't want to fire unless rocket shot into. Reminds me, need to reach out to support - missing tilt bob.

Question: Just noticed my current code is 18.4.11 so I downloaded 18.5.4. Put it on USB stick, plugged into game, did the update and said settings saved to USB. Unplugged USB, power cycled game and still 18.4.11

Do I have to upgrade to 18.4.27 first?

Quoted from PinMonk:

Did you use the same USB stick for both updates? The name is the same, so maybe you didn't overwrite the new over the old? It also needs to be in the root directory.

Yes I did. I'll try to format the USB again and see what happens.
