Quoted from Rob_G:

The game looks neat and the price point is attractive. But the girl giggle (?) sounds like a hyena and I think that part is extremely annoying. I've only read bits and pieces of the thread, but I know this has been mentioned. Maybe it will get changed?
Rob

Nothing has changed. However that setting can be adjusted in the settings.

Quoted from DBLM:

VUK is getting one soon. Was there Friday and was talking to the tech working on TNA. He said that it is is on the way. They also have GOTG in as well.

That is outstanding. My band rehearses down the street occasionally, and I played DI there recently. I will make it there again soon!!

Quoted from greenhornet:

disappointing that only a single game of video has been published during the last six months.

In addition to the one that was recently posted by me, there was some taken at expo as well. I understand the desire to see more video. While I do record game play as I am developing the software, it is rarely for more than a few minutes as a time as I am typically working on some aspect of the code. I'm sure there will be plenty of game play footage as games starts to ship, but I will try to make some more when I have time so I can provide some info on modes, etc. I'm sure our new marketing guy is working on some things.

Quoted from konjurer:

Rosh - any chance that the magic glass and side blades will be ready to ship with the first games? I might be getting one from the first batch and I would certainly prefer those add-ons without having to ship and install later.

Plans are being made so both blades and magic glass can be installed at the factory. My best guess is that will be an available option in late January.

#1654 6 years ago

Rosh- i was watching some video. Quick question. Overtime when Im done with instructions for shots, will we be able to turn those off? Much like the giggling thats been discussed?
Happy Holidays and a very successful New Year for the AP team!

Yes, this may not be most current, but, close enough . . .

My daughter and I went there for lunch today and they said they expect it there this week. So pumped to try it.

VUK would be good

#1661 6 years ago

Just put a deposit on this. Have really enjoyed playing it on location. Can’t wait to have 2 new pins to play!

#1664 6 years ago
Quoted from mcbPalisade:

Will this one be in your showroom?

I believe 1up Colfax.. We want to get as many out in locations where the public can see them rather than just showing on our showroom floor. That's why we are sending all 5 to commercial locations to start with. #6 or #7 will likely be on our showroom.

I’m curious - how do you know about a DC location? Do the distros get a nationwide list of them or something? I suppose that would help with saturation

Will that included the BBQ I can mooch off of you?

I helped the operator get his start. He used to work for us. Still comes out and goes to shows and stuff with me. Really good guy

Very cool! I love that place; they keep a great rotation and the games are well maintained. And the food is really good! Not sure how they Pull it all off!

Agreed. Lyman’s is always a blast. Stupid question: was it named after Lyman Sheets? I wonder if he’s ever visited.

I don't know - the owner's name is Kevin, and I know he works with his dad - maybe he's Lyman? lol

I can only imagine how many hours per day the API team have been living at the factory this past week. Lol. The champagne finish line is close I suspect.

I hope I’m in the front of the queue. Looks like my distributor has already delivered one. I’m super stoked to get one.

So glad API was able to meet their prediction for December.

Congrats Mike couldn’t have gone to a better guy. Funny they went through all that work to box it for your 5 minute drive back to unbox it. Lol. Now box that #1 back up and let it collect dust as I see this company having a long future and that #1 will have some value! After I come over and play it of coarse!!!!

#1689 6 years ago

Is the pallet covered by the cardboard, or is it not on a pallet?

#1690 6 years ago
