It’s great to have more competition in the pinball market. That makes each manufacturer create a better product to fight for your dollars. Looks to be a very interesting machine. I’d love to play one soon.

    #17 3 years ago

Cool. Glad to hear that are up and running.
    Congrats to American pinball.

    #18 3 years ago

Congrats! I played the prototype at SFGE and was impressed. Glad to see what appears to be an honest, hard working company join the game (for a change).

    Congrats, American Pinball!

Congratulations guys. I enjoyed meeting some of you at the NW Pinball show /almost/ as much as I like playing Houdini.

I'll be buying one in 2018 for sure.

Those shots look damn tight? cool vid of the game, very interesting.

    #28 3 years ago

I played one game at SFGE last summer. Actually did pretty well but the shots are VERY tight. Even well his shots seemed to rattle around a bit. This is on my radar but will have to get some time on one. Luckily a buddy of mine is getting one so I'll be able to give it a real try.

    Congrats to AP!

Is $6,999 delivered the best most folks are seeing on this?

Price should not be a surprised since that has been advertised for a year now.

Avg ball times is 5 + min. with a couple of 13 to 15min games. The game is not a drain hog. Left outlanes drains more than the right. Very cool multiballs (Séance and trunk), illusion modes and the movies mode.

    Are outlanes open or closed?

Is the code complete on this game?

    #42 3 years ago

Jester, code complete, on a new deliverable? Seriously?

    #43 3 years ago
    Quoted from Jesterfunhouse:

Is the code complete on this game?

Rosh has said on Houdini thread that it is very close, think he's at 96-98%. Part of the piont getting few out door and on location, tweeks coming for sure. Simple usb download.

Hopefully a watershed moment in the hobby. Congrats AP and Best of luck to you!

This game played very nicely at Allentown and seems like a winner.

The pics of the underside are very promising! I am seeing excellent mechanical construction with no skimping on fasteners, subassembly quality, or wire management and connector quality. The daughterboards look to be well laid-out and the entire playfield looks as if it will be relatively easy to troubleshoot. Basically appears as if the overall build quality and attention to detail underneath matches what we have seen up top! Makes $7k seem like even more of a bargain!

The entire AP organization is consistently looking like a bunch of true professionals rather than mere upstart dreamers, and it is very impressive that they have accomplished so much in such a short time. Sincere congrats to all of them!

I fully expect Houdini to be the next game we acquire, just need the chance to give it a few test plays before pulling the trigger; maybe it won’t be too much longer now!

Awesome video, thanks for posting! Game seems to have good flow... what's motivating the sound of the giggling girl?

Those are the slingshots. And Rosh has been considerate enough to include different sounds to choose from if one gets too grating. Being able to swap sounds directly from the menu is a cool feature indeed.
