Just checked the mail and my 6 year old daughter got a new catalog from American Girl. Now you can buy a pinball machine for your dolls.

Edit: check out this YouTube video- it really works- lights, sound and scoring.

If Stern wants to stay relevant as a “lifestyle brand” they need to get with the times!! They could have a real machine at all of the American Girl stores.

    Quoted from TomDK:

    Playfield coating okay ?!

For $150, it better have diamond plate playfield

    Quoted from ralphcousman:

That looks like they are trying to get kids to do psychedelics lol.

The character Julie is based on the early 1970s.
All of the American Girls are from a different time period in American history

    Quoted from LateCenturyMods:

Well trot it down and sell it off. Ought to be worth about one 80s game.

I’ve seen some old original ones sell for hundreds of dollars- sell them and buy a new pin

    Quoted from northvibe:

Gameplay and review 2:00 minutes in

Was this review done by arcade and pinball talk? Excellent review

    Flappers!!!!!!!

I predict this will be the hit of pinball expo 2019! Maybe ZMeny and Hollywoodbone will have an SDTM unboxing video. Maybe it will be on the FlipNOut stream with Ken and Bill.

Lots of pinsiders have daughters and granddaughters who would love this as a birthday or Christmas present. Maybe stern could have some mini versions of its current pins and partnerships with companies like American Girl.

Jeff, will TWIP have a deep dive of the new American Girl pin with detailed photos and a rules flowchart? A round table with the design team? Looking forward to it.

    Quoted from pin2d:

Coming soon: American Girl Soldering Iron

    Quoted from Pinball-is-great:

Who is gonna start a club thread for this new "The Flip Side" pinball machine by American Girl?
Someone else can start a mods thread for this machine also.
Too early to start a bitch thread asking for code update.

I wonder what the mod couple or lermods will come up with? Limitless possibilities

On the Deadflip Facebook page, George Gomez says he has one and it’s at Stern. Could there be a big reveal at Pinball Expo 2019???

Let’s see an unboxing video- it’s gotta be like Greg’s Jurassic Park unboxing

Sweet, best miniature tabletop pinball ever!

Nice!! I thought there would be one at expo, but I never saw anyone with one. I think I may get one for my girls

    #110 4 years ago
    Quoted from 2manypins:

the box is bigger than you think but the machine is actually than I thought it would be. I got one a couple days ago because I buy everything pinball related.
Has been a great conversational piece and our child and friends have been playing it Non-Stop.

How’s the playfield holding up? Any chipping or dimples? Glad they’re having fun- and it’s a fun conversation piece

    Quoted from 2manypins:

Playfield is fine and no dimples. My eight-year-old son plays it everyday. My high score is 137000 and some change.

Awesome! I hope to get one for my girls, looks fun

Unfortunately Santa did not bring one this year- we did get to play one at the American Girl store the other day!
