I don't get any extra pleasure from keeping the game the same way it came out of the box, so primarily I just want it to play well. (And I'm cheap, so I don't spend money on stuff that doesn't impact gameplay. The Tron ramp lights are probably the only exception. External subwoofer is the other).
For most games, that means doing nothing. But for others, I'm looking at you GB, there might be a few changes that help the game play better.
