I’ve started to service the score reels on this Gottlieb jungle I am shopping out, and it looks like the score reel switches are in different positions than what I’m normally used to. Were these earlier Gottlieb games different than the mid 70s games in terms of switch positions?

Normally the switches should be (from top to bottom, with the 9 switch being the top, the runout switch being the middle, and the 0 switch being the bottom):

0 = open, open, closed
1-8 = open, closed, open;
9 = closed, closed, open

These reels, which I’m fairly certain were working just fine before I started the restoration, are as follows:

0 = open, open, open
1-8 = closed, open, closed
9 = closed, closed, closed

Can that be right?! They’re all that way so guessing they must be?
