Littlecammi, it happened.
I use to buy from an operator in Panama City FL by the name of Keith that use to sell me games, because he knew id take them out of the area and wouldnt compete with him.
I bought 15-20 pins from him through out the years.

I know someone who paid $1,500 for a low play HUO CV. Some home owner bought it, never played it and didn't know what it was worth.

How the hell are you in ANY position to determine what did or didn't happen?

You're funny though, "I know I'm not credible, but your not credible." I think he's pretty credible, but based on your statement you aren't credible, but how credible am I?

It's like middle school.

Quoted from littlecammi:

I'm pretty new to PINSIDE and I know I don't have much credibility myself yet.

But you lost credibility with me when you said you bought a MM for $2K back in the '90s. The machine was produced in 1997 and B/W got out of the pinball business in 1999 (after making MB and CC and RFM and SW:E1). I started collecting pins in 1995 and I well remember those times. MM started going up in value shortly after it was produced. Unless it fell out of a truck and was smashed on the ground, MM never got as low as you claim.

You need to be getting fanned and eating grapes.

Things have changed quite a bit, there was a long period where MM's were locked @ $4500 range, then around $8000.

Sorry to tell you there are always deals to be had out there especially back in those days before MM went crazy in price. I remember talking to Bran Kelly a month or so ago & he told me how some operator way back in the day threw a MM in the dumpster cause he couldnt get it to work & maybe it had seen better days. Not sure about the exact details of what happened to it but i'm sure he could chime in with what he knows.

I just read through the last 3 pages of this thread. LOL

To the OP: Congrats and enjoy. Sweet pick-up. Great lounging pic!

To some of the posters: Why get your panties in a bunch over what the OP paid? Good grief.
