I have a CFTBL and it is fitted with an A12697-1 Driver Board that has been badly hacked. I have an A12697-3 board (no relay) but from reading up it does not need the relay as it has a Fliptronics II board fitted, am I correct?
cheers
Brian

great cheers for your help, the previous owner had trashed the existing board and fitted a switched power supply from and arcade machine to supply the +5v and +12v...... and soldered the power supply outputs to test points on the driver board and onto the back of the CPU board!!!! Oh and had replaced one of the large capacitors by soldering 2 wires into the spot where it was removed and dangling the new capacitor onto the board suspended by just the wires!!! When I get the board out i will see if it can be saved...
PS: the -3 board is like new so no issues there and it came from a working Judge Dredd
cheers
Brian
