hate to say it but u almost have to expect that to happen. I would not even go with out the cash and truck ready to load. clist is known for that and its always a race... unfortunate.

LOL I seriously would never recommend asking to take part of the machine with you, maybe the legs or yes maybe a cpu board but the average person might get mad or think you are a scammer and it could kill the whole deal possibly.
In a tight jam where a deposit is necessary I would recommend a legal document typed up beforehand. I know this sounds crazy but I think that would have alot more of a impact in a rush situation. or even a bill of sale with the serial number.
the best way you can guarantee yourself a game, cash load n go!
Quoted from t2:Would anyone take a check as payment?
NEVER!!!
unless I seriously knew the person. from a stranger, NO WAY.
had a guy try that once. called his bluff and in 5 minutes his wife suddenly found cash.
yeah dont do that
Quoted from simplykind:Had a similar thing happen the other day. Verbally agreed to a Jack*Bot for $500, guy said give him 24hrs to make a decision as emails we flooding in. He said he'd let me know before making a final decision. I called back the next day, he had already sold it for $600. Awesome
I would have convinced them that now is the time and been on the way. 24hrs is way too long.
Quoted from simplykind:Lesson learned. Still kicking myself in the a** about it.
nothing you can do... when they are listed that silly low, you probably would have had to live next door hahaha
