Quoted from mg81:You guys are not talking to the seller correctly if they think you are taking a part for "insurance" after you give them a deposit.
You need to give the story of the part being easily broken, tell them about "the bad experience" you had when you or a friend who broke a backglass or a CPU went bad from the jarring in a move. Don't have a story? Make it up. So what if the seller thinks you are klutz?
Don't go crazy pulling parts off, it needs to be something quick. As mentioned, you don't want the seller to think you are just taking the part and running off never to return.
You can always talk about limited space in your car or excessive weight that you are trying to remove to make the later move easier. All kinds of "reasons" you want to move a pin over two trips.
what b.s. no body parts any machine out untill its paid for in cash and in full- then you can take as many trips and come with as many stupid reasons you want to.
also you dont show up on time , im calling the next interested buyer
