Quoted from MattElder:

Hi Tom,
No, it’s not even an early one. In fact, this one is from late in the run, judging by the serial number that the new owner sent to me. Nothing special at all about this game. Normal playfield here. I was just explaining what an early one would look like if someone had one....

Hey - it's special to me!

The only mystery that Matt and I couldn't figure out was a later serial number, but yet the boards had all revision 1.0 ROMs. The sound ROMs read "M/C Sample V1.0".

Loving it! Such a unique game, and it plays fast and fun.
Although, since we're talking AG & Co. tech troubleshooting, I'll share here to see who has some insight...
I did recently start blowing fuse F15 upon startup, which protects the left/right sling kicker coils and the knocker coils. It's a 2amp slo-blo that sits along the left side of the head's cabinet, in a vertical line of fuses there. I noticed that when I replace the fuse, turn the game on, the right kicker locks on in the forward position, and then falls back down once the fuse goes. I'm not sure if it's a switch issue that maybe I adjusted something and now it's not happy, or a transistor issue.

Sounds like a blown transistor - I think a switch issue would cause a single kick, not a solid hold on the coil.

Mayfairamusement.com is that where they came from?

No - sorry, just a recycled box. They came from another Pinsider, but probably PSPA (Australia) before that if I had to guess.
