I have a William's Police Force display (same as taxi). The upper display is a 16 digit alpha-numeric display and the bottom is a 16 digit numeric display that is outgassed. I bought a replacement for the numeric display but it is alpha-numeric display. My question is should the alpha-numeric display work in the numeric display slot???

Both displays are alphanumeric displays, but the CPU only displays numbers on the bottom display.

Quoted from GRUMPY:

Both displays are alphanumeric displays, but the CPU only displays numbers on the bottom display.

Thank you, I appreciate it!
