Is it a zero ohm jumper?

    Quoted from McPin54:

What is the purpose of a zero ohm transistor?
    Thank you

Zero ohm RESISTOR. Resistors are not transistors. Very different devices. A zero ohm resistor is nothing more than a jumper wire. They are used because component placing machines can more easily place a resistor than a wire.
