My area was FLOODED from Sandy. My 4 neighbors and I (all 5 are in a townhouse) were the only ones on my street and the next 4 connecting/sidestreets that didn't get any water in the house (built 6 years ago). However, we did get water in the garage. Everything that water touched, I threw out. It was absolutely disgusting.
