Sounds like you may have missed your meds.... I also drove 7hrs (with basically zero sleep)(Had to make a pickup first), I showed up at 1:16pm on Friday and was surprised at the line, but parked my vehicle, chugged a "soda" (7hr drive blew), then started another "soda" and waited in line. I didn't think the line took too long, or maybe I was glad not to be sitting in my vehicle anymore. No complaints about the show tho, line and all...Had a good time, with a good group of guys...

Never plug a sump pump into a power strip, or GFI outlet unless you want water... GFI is code, but ask any electrician if they would trust it in their house, absolutely not.

I have a separate pump on battery backup as well (high water table)...Used to lay awake at night sweating when it rained hard lol...Also have a whole house generator if all else fails
